If your SEAT motor insurance policy requires the use of a telematics app, you will need to download and connect the SEAT Insurance Telematics app to your vehicle’s Bluetooth.Once connected, the app uses the latest telematics technology to measure various aspects of your driving style. For every journey you make we will use this data to score your speed, smoothness and usage. These scores are then combined to give you an overall Driving Style score.

1 ★Terrible wish I'd just paid this insurance for a year instead of this App. Keep having to type my user name and password in before every drive. Now my password and login are no longer working and won't let me sign in. Contacted the support to get my back in but no response yet. Keep getting texts and emails to say I'm not using the app. Doesn't record journeys properly.
1 ★As stated many times on Seat and vw sites... The worst app ever. Have driven 300 miles and registered 3 miles. Contacted seat. Downloaded the app. Re installed the app. Contacted customer services several times and they are just as lost as i am. Now awaiting help from their tech team 3 weeks waiting. Come on vw group get your act together. How can a program be released and be so poor. Update from Seat... they are awhere of problems with the app and are looking into it....

1 ★I was really apprehensive about having to get this app for my free yearinsurance, and the reviews really put me off the whole situation but I washoping these people on here were just a minority. Well, low and behold itcould be better. Essentially, if you do EVERY THING the customer serviceteam at SEAT say, the app will CHOOSE which journeys it'll record and whichit won't. The people on here saying it gives unfair scores are probablyquite reckless or in denial of their bad driving because to be honest itseems rather fair with scores (except the odd weird smoothness score, speedis however rather accurate). My issue however lies with the fact it neverrecords and then if you were to God forbid crash.... Is that £500 excessvery fair when it's the technology that failed? Take this as a hilariousexample, I've driven 823 miles since getting my new car a month or so ago(according to the dash counter) and the app has recorded I've done 464!!!!!So yes, this app is a joke. Unfortunately a necessary joke if you want theinsurance.... I just wish they gave you the option to have the actual boxfitted if you keep having such issues. Not only this, the customer servicewhen you complain about it not working, because it does decide not to loada lot and will blank screen every Monday when the score swaps, is anabsolute hit and miss. Some people will try and help but most of their"reassuring" is a load of tripe and let's be honest if you had to claimthey wouldn't think twice about doing you over for £500 excess. Try toavoid if you can afford not to take the free insurance.
1 ★If I could put 0 stars that would be better. Makes phone crash, do sent track rides even when app is open, constantly hace to uninstall and reinstall software the list goes on. People who work at seat insurance are less than helpful when it comes to the app saying it will be improved and it never is. In all honestly wish I hadn't took the free insurance with my car and had just paid as this is such a hassle.
1 ★Not worth the hassle of free insurance. Doesn't track properly. Constantly crashes so you're receiving texts all the time saying they've had no update. Have to uninstall and reinstall every time.
1 ★Absolutely hate this app. Wish I had never got it but I thought it would be amazing getting a new car and free insurance. How I was wrong. The app is useless and when you ring to complain they say they are working on it. I definitely would not recommend this at all. It marks me as driving even when I am at work giving me rubbish scores. Pity there is not a 0 star because it is not even worth 1
1 ★Quite regularly says insurance has stopped working and have to uninstall then reinstall the app. Regularly logs me out so i have to log in. Don't always connect properly despite having mobile data and location on and being connected to the car's bluetooth. Very similar points to the reviews on the VW equivalent of this. Gives poor scores for no apparent reason despite not speeding etc. Would recommend having a box fitted rather than using the app!
1 ★Awful! Gives me -10 for speeding when im going the speed limits, have spoken with the insurance company and they told me it wasnt recording correctly. I dont see how i can get a - for usage when i drove for 5 minutes or 2 hours. This is not worth that hassle for free insurance.
1 ★Used it for the best part of 5 weeks gave terrible scores for usage and speed. Drove as reserved as I could be for one trip getting terrible scores then drove faster then I would normally getting a perfect score. 0/10 for consistency. Regularly crashes when tracking. Seems to not be able to determine when the journey has ended most of the time. But my account hasn't worked for a couple of weeks on any of the 4 devices I've tried and support are in no rush to fix such issues.
