You can extract more than 30 formats with a single click. It is built with 7zip library which provides faster compression and decompression. 1. Why this app is asking for password. It's a free app after all.
Ans: The app is not asking you for password but the file you are decompressing. Some files are password protected to protect it's content from unauthorized access. You need to know the password in order to decompress the file. Extracting password protected archives are just another feature by Arc File Manager. Non password protected files will work fine.

4 ★Seems development has stopped alltogether for this app quite a while.Folder- memory navigation and non-ad version would be nice though(if the developer ever changes his mind and decides to continue with the development effort).Appreciate app's versatility,fast-speed and small-size,but frankly ads are annoying for such a key utility-app

5 ★Any praise falls so short of what this app deserves. I'm a rooted user and I still use Arc as my daily file manager. Its the best app out there. Now there's one thing that I want and thats to have an optional root function so it can go in /data and other root folders.

5 ★Great utility, sleek & straightforward design, and the added ability to de/compress files makes it a top notch app! The only suggestion I could make would be custom size settings for the grid view (for users who detest oversized web 2.0 icons/gui)

4 ★Missing feature: cloud support. I've been loyal to this app for three to four years now. It's not changed since Dec 2014 and I need the abovementioned feature so I'm moving iA. I believe that the developers have abandoned it. Otherwise, great little app.

1 ★Before I could go into me internal memory and manually move folders from my phone to my SD by holding my thumb on the folder and given a list which included a move option. The function I had to move is now gone and when I try copy and paste a folder from my internal memory my SD it says moved but it hasn't done anything. Removing the move function has ruined this app. Please fix and I'll give 5 stars

1 ★Don't waste your time unless you are extracting one folder at a time. In my case I have 10,819 folders that need extracting and this app is useless for that.

5 ★Idea 1) Please incorporate capacity bars for both internal & external memory. Idea 2) Create a corrupt file detector (CFD) that works before, but in tandem with file decompression so time is not wasted decompressing corrupt files that will be deleted anyway.***** Arc File Manager is a fantastic (de)compressor for file types like rar, zip, jar & many many others. Install Arc now & enjoy!
