5 ★Awesome comprehensive design!

5 ★Good app

4 ★This app just continues to get better. And you can trust the people and the person that has made this app safe and secure! He doesn't take advantage of his clients in permissions. In fact actually not wanting to put certain ones in to protect you and me. Need more apps like this. Recommend highly.

5 ★I have used this in my samsung s4 for about 4 months. The functionality is great, it is user-friendly, I particularly like the ability to insert, or append to an existing recording. I am looking forward to saving the recordings on my sd card with the next update.

1 ★MIC NOT SEEN BY DICTATROID Was working for awhile. No it doesn't see any audio to record on my Note 4. Could not find any settings for the mic. Used to work. Also I wish they were more clear on how to find and implement the widget. Had to help my 90 year old Mother to find it and it took me awhile and a couple of Google searches. One star till they fix the mic issue.

4 ★No frills but unlike other apps that claim to do dictation this actually does it. Allows you to scroll back in real time and edit your dictation. Only problem is that I need my files in mp3 so I've had to purchase a converter to convert the wave file. This would be five star if it allowed the option to dictate in other formats or had a built in conversion.

1 ★My app says it is recording but when I go to stop it - i only have 5 minutes of recording. It just started doing this. 😣

2 ★Uncompressed dictation with no frills seems to work reasonably well. Unfortunately, the compression is buggy, particularly when files get bigger, e.g. more than 30 minutes. Sending the compressed file through gmail appears to work, until you realize that only the first 30 minutes of the file was sent. There is no error message. I only realized when I tried to play the recording. Other means of sharing simply error out (e.g. google drive) or do not work at all (e.g. Airdroid). I was finally able to share the file uncompressed, but since it was large this took some time. It's ok if the app struggles with large files, but then there should be a warning to this effect or the file size should be limited. Also, compression must be performed every time a file is shared, even if the file has not been changed since the last time it was shared. This is frustrating. I also had problems inserting. The app would lose track of the file size or somehow lose its place within the file. Although the app recovered eventually, it was disconcerting. From all the positive reviews, I assume inserting works fine with small files, but once the file gets big, things seem to fall apart.

4 ★Recording works fine. But I can't record using the widget, which is one of the reasons why I chose this app. Help pls

5 ★After almost three years, this is still one of my main go-to apps. It has a widget now, which is great and could still use a taskbar control so I don't have to leave my reader or podcast apps to make a notes. Bluetooth compatibility would be nice too, for the car or my headphones. But those are nice to haves. Even with a bazillion apps available, nobody has been able to come close to replacing dictadroid for me.
