Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Absolutely useless as can't set the alarm to vibrate only!!!!
5 ★It works so well you have a clock and an alarm the whole shabbos.
4 ★REVIEW EDITED IN LIGHT OF DEVELOPER'S RESPONSE: I don't mind spending $0.99 on a worthy cause--but I hope I can do better. I wasn't able to vary the alarm tone, or to delete the test alarm I set. (Developer advised on how to do the latter.) I was hoping for more. On my old galaxy phones, I had the loveliest native alarm tune, a short shakahachi tune that ran for a cycle and stopped, and if I woke up disoriented I always knew it was Shabbat or yontif. I miss it so much. I've found some other alarms where "auto-dismiss" feature can be set and there is more flexibility. But I still love the idea of an explicit "Shabbos Clock" app.
4 ★Finally allows me to have alarm to wake up to on Shabbos without putting a blanket over it when the alarm rings. There is however a bug in the app which when you scroll up or down the page, it randomly turns off and on some alarms.
3 ★Great app but in the iPhone version used to have volume control in the app. That was great! Not any more. Now my alarm is very loud
2 ★On Samsung 8plus when you click the bottom icon "show shabbos clock" you are locked on that screen & cannot go back to main screen. I can force the phone to go back to the phone main screen, but if you click your app you allways the Shabbos clock screen. If I go to general app setting I can force a close for shabbos clock to get it back to the default setting. Also, I have now used the app for 1 month & so far has worked 4 out of 5 times. The main Droid alarm much more reliable, but need the automatic cut off for shabbos. Thank you
4 ★1. 24 hour does not work. Only am/pm. 2. Pls add option to change alarmtone and volume for each alarm. 3. Alarm text stays only for the time ofthe alarm. If alarm is short you cant know alarm name. Leave alarm nameforever or at least for a while. 30 sec... 4. Add option for single alarm,no repeat, but not only today, also at selected day. Thank you!! :)
5 ★This clean and clear app has unique features: length of ring, alarm time relative to skiya and sunrise perfect for 1st Halacha of Shulchan Aruch להעיר את השחר
4 ★Nice and easy. Would be great if you could control the volume of each alarm rather than it ring full blast. Maybe the alarm tone too.
5 ★Neat, ready, easy and reliable!
5 ★Thanks
5 ★Works exactly as advertised. Developer quickly updated to resolve a small issue. Great app!
