3 ★This app has been soooooo amazing to me. I love the concept & the way everything is set up. I've used this app for years. Recently, no matter how many times I uninstall & re-install or reset my alarm it does not go off. It has not been dependable for a while now.
2 ★I'm having the same experience as many people now after my Pixel 2 updated to Android 10. Mainly, the snooze/dismiss screen does not come up when the alarm sounds. Need to unlock phone, pull down the notification, clock into Timely, then dismiss. The app is otherwise excellent. EDIT: just noticed that the last time this app was updated was in 2018. I'm guessing these issues will never be addressed.
1 ★Sadly, like so many others, this app doesn't work anymore. It was great and I've used it for years, but now when the alarm goes off (which seems to be inconsistent) i cant get it to shut off. When trying to use the timer, it doesn't alert me when it's over. I have to unlock my phone, then go into the app before it will alert me. So sad, I used to use this everyday.
3 ★This was a really good app, but now alarms don't show up, and is required to go to the app to turn off the alarm, if this review was before the update this will definitely be a 5 stars, but now is only a 3, and if this didn't maintain the aesthetic this will definitely be a 1 star review.
1 ★This has been my most favourite app for YEARS and sadly it no longer works with the new Android update. My alarm didn't go off and made me late for work, I've tested this during the day on and off since then, and unfortunately still not working.. Hope you guys fix it soon..!! I can see I'm not the only one advising of this issue and also being late to work because of it..!
1 ★It saddens me to see this app go. It had the smoothest, most intuitive UI of any alarm app I've ever used, plenty of alarm tones, and it was always one of the first apps I would redownload on a new Android device. But, sadly, it stopped working a few months ago. At first I thought it was just a fluke, so I uninstalled and redownloaded it, but for weeks on end I got a notification hours after my alarm was supposed to go off saying "Alarm for 7:35 AM silenced after 40 minutes." Useless...
1 ★This app WAS the core of my phone. I use my phone for little more than time management and Timely was just perfect from the widget on my homescreen, timing meals, workouts, productivity sessions to waking me up in the morning. But seems it's no longer being supported and it's a grave shame! Probably should be removed from here if not inheritted. Got my fingers crossed Timely comes through but I'm otherwise off to mourn the loss of a great app. Happy grieving all. But yeh, don't download.
1 ★UPDATE: I previously gave 4 stars but had to update because it's become increasingly glitchy. It isn't chiming at the specified times but reads in the notification window as snoozing or silenced. Please fix! This is my preferred alarm, actual chimes and multi layered music instead of soft sounds. My only concern is that lately the volume setting self adjusts from being at the loudest to a mid point. Every night before I go to bed I have to check to make sure I'll hear the alarm in the morning.
1 ★I was able to use this alarm and it was the only one I could hear with use of eat plugs which I must use to tune out household noises. I go to sleep early. It was perfect. Until a few weeks ago when my phone updated to Android 10. I can no longer use unless Timely had an update available. Please please developers, update Timely. No other alarm clock compares when it was working before Android update to 10. Please, I plead, make an update so we can all continue to use Timely!!!
1 ★As others have noted, Timely no longer functions as an effective alarm unless you have the app open and displayed. It would be nice to read in the evening and not be concerned that the alarm you have set won't go off because the app is not in the forefront! How/Why would a team updating functionality of this app end up destroying such an intrinsic & necessary feature?
1 ★Loved this app until android update. It has everything you need until it goes off at 430 am on the wrong device connected to the bluetooth speaker at full volume when no one has to get up. You have to shut off the device because the alarm can no longer be shut off via the lock screen you have to a) hunt through your notifications to find the alarm to get it to pop the lockscreen image to shut off the alarm or b) locate the app open it and locate the alarm going off and shut it off.
4 ★I have been using this app for years. Over the past several weeks it has gotten very buggy. Timer alarm doesn't sound. Alarms fail to go off or go off hours later than the set time. I was late for work twice last week. Please fix this app.
