1 ★I contracted COVID before a tour and mutually agreed to cancel the tour with the guide. Withlocals lied to me that the guide didn't agree to compensation and have now stopped responding. There is a COVID policy on their website that covers this situation, but they have no interest in honouring the policy. This company stole 300 euros from me. Ignore their response below, they only respond to reviews to distract other potential customers. I did email, no response!
5 ★On a visit to Cape aTown I wanted to visit qs much as I could but not with a guide that would wither on but a local. I will use this app again. Reasonably priced.
2 ★There aren't alternate currencies available. Why do I have to pay in Euros when I'm in the USA? It seems like a ploy to make extra money from travelers.
