1 ★It has not worked for me. I'm unable to backup my phone. I'd really like to move the photos from my phone to iDrive but I can't even back them up. This is worthless if I'm unable to do this. I've had it for months and have been trying, but it's not working.

1 ★Horrible Cloud Service. When downloading your files from the cloud it takes for ever like, a very long time, it takes years to even begin downloading. Then if your downloading a bunch of files from one back up it takes so long the app will close out in the background and it never gets done. I would never recommend this cloud service.

2 ★Pretty good start, but feels like a beta app that's still missing a number of features. 1. There's no way to pause backups 2. I can't disable backups when disconnected from charging, only when below certain battery thresholds. Backup doesn't pause when unplugged. 3. i can't pick specific SSIDs for wifi hotspots that are okay to upload to 4. i can't specify folders to back up, only types of files and then the only way to exclude something is to pick the individual file... that's crazy

2 ★It has taken over a month to get this app to work on Android. Tech support has been no help so far. iDrive is not compatible with the data saver mode that somehow was activated by some utility, but iDrive couldn't detect it and turn it off. iDrive is also not compatible with the Lookout AV security app when it has activated the VPN mode. You have to dig deep into Lookout to find it and even deeper to turn it off. iDrive couldn't detect it and tell me to turn it off.

5 ★Finally! A backup app that gets it. Powerful simple, comprehensive, easy to use, affordable cloud backup. This is the one.

5 ★It's Fantastic! I use IDrive on every device I have! Ive had it for about a year now, my renewal is coming up in 2 weeks and I've never had any issues with it. A couple things I wish they would implement in the software is the option to rename your devices to what you want them labeled as. And an easier way to view your back-ups. But other then that I highly recommend this company.

3 ★The backup and sync features are pretty good. But there is no way to drop files into a folder in the browser and have them saved in the cloud. In other words, IDrive is not a cloud drive, like Google Drive, Drop Box or One Drive. For me that was a deal breaker. I was also shocked that you have to use email for two factor authentication (i.e. it can't send the code via text to your phone).

1 ★iDrive does not let the user organize or manage their files. All you can do is run individual device backups. So if your're looking for a place to back up and store all of your digital photos, iDrive is useless, especially if you get a new phone on a regular basis. Each phone will have its own "backup" with files and photos for that particular phone with no way of merging them into one main photo directory. No way of uploading older photos from your computer and merging them together.

1 ★Scary! I usually do not write poor reviews, only good ones. But this app will let you down when you need it most. This app skips lots of files and does not tell the user. One discovers it the hard way during a restore attempt.I asked Tech Support by filling the form on line 3 times. I have received no replies. The on-line Help is pretty useless because there is no search function. Also, if one finds a video, there are no closed captions. This is just, plain wrong & thoughtless. (I've written to them about this many times. I guess they do not care about hearing impaired customers._____________ One can not restore previous versions of the few files that it does backup. Again, no help from tech support.------And it stalls during uploads. I've waited for hours and hours during a backup. One must constantly quit the app & reboot the phone to kick this thing back into gear. -----------This app sure is a pain to use because the interface is much different than the computer or even web versions. One CAN NOT drill down to choose what to restore beyond a few basics. One CAN NOT back up system files. Why can't they have all interfaces the same? Also, there are no instructions to be found anywhere. I had to learn this app on my own because iDrive tech support gave me no help, as is often the case with their junky technical support service. ____________ So, the app more or less backs up ONLY pieces of the phone. More or Less are the key words here. ____________.For critical items, I manually backup by moving the files to the computer & letting iDrive computer version catch them from there. (iDrive works fairly well on the computer, Safe & reliable)________ A HINT- You first backup from the phone may take a long time and could use lots of your expensive data minutes. I recommend turning off Data & using WiFi only. Subsequent backups are reasonably fast and use minimal data, unless you have added many, or large, files. Also, if you have limited phone storage, skip this app. The cache and data files get HUGE fast. It will not work if installed on the SD, (Again I asked tech support & received no help. I guess they do not support the mobile app.

3 ★A really good start. In the Windows world, iDrive is pretty solid. In the Android world, iDrive is still a beta product. My Android devices aren't showing up in the device list, but the Android devices are backing up. I've been contacted several times by iDrive R&D about this issue. no fix yet.

2 ★IDrive does what it says in allowing the backup of files. However, the user experience is lacking in a couple of key areas. If you want to clear files off your local drive and trust iDrive to keep a copy, your going to have a bad time. I routinely backup my data to my iDrive archive, then clear the data from my computer. This discrepancy in files means that every backup "fails" because the iDrive app doesn't have the ability to ignore deleted files. It logs a deleted file as "missing" and then flags the entire backup as a failure. So, every day I see a "failed backup" notice of hundreds of files. The desktop version of iDrive allows the user to perform an "Archive Cleanup" that will sync files between devices. If a file has been deleted on a device it will be deleted from iDrive. Of course, that's not what I want. The app is not the best for managing files. There's no easy way to sort or filter the columns showing your file lists. This is a huge UX fail and has caused me many headaches. The basic service of iDrive seems fine, but the features in the apps (both mobile and desktop) are poor. I'm looking for a new service.

1 ★Could be a great app with one HUGE problem. I do NOT want the app backing up every tiny picture in my phone and every app. Why can't I just select a folder of photos, no, you have to show every single image in my phone making it a nightmare to choose just my DCIM folder since I send pictures to my SD-Card. Fix and I will fix my stars and review.
