1 ★So, now I've been using this app for the past few months. It's "ok" when it works (still choppy playback, poor audio and it freezes regularly), but for the past week, playing back "events" hasn't worked at all and the app now crashes. This app does nothing to make me feel secure. What's the point of having cameras when the software doesn't allow the user to see the activity?
3 ★Human Detection on the Eufy doorbell is often inaccurate and mistakes trees for people. I wish I had the ability to add more than just one ignore zone to put over them, so I don't get 10+ notifications every time the wind blows when the doorbell thinks it's a human. The Eufy floodlight cam is sometimes set off by rain, snow, and bugs, but will miss recording people when they walk slow.
4 ★App is good; wide range of products compatible with it. Has automation capability you can set up to turn a camera on if a motion sensor is tripped for example. Has potential but needs some updates to broaden compatability for indoor and outdoor cameras in app for example. Sound quality on the 2c cameras i have is mediocre, very tin can sounding but i didnt purchase for voice personally.
3 ★I am ok with the product in general BUT it still picks up dogs and cats when the only human setting is on. That is really annoying and should be fixed . Also I still get the occasional missed detection which I imagine could be related to the wireless connection, but still ,it should be better given the price and the fact we are dealing with the security of our homes.
2 ★These cameras capture people, cars and animals about 50% of time. They also get activated by shades, insects and other element alot. Less than 50% is recordings of people, cars and animals. The batteries have to be charged like every 2 to 3 months not 1 year as they claimed. I have adusted the sensor area and sensitivity several times. But still the batteies do not last more than 3 months and do not record more than 50% of time. It is not worth it. I do not tecommend this product.
4 ★Autofill does not work, specifically with LastPass. This would not be too big of a deal but the app signs you out if logged into more than one device. I.e. you cannot log in with your personal phone your computer. This will log you out. Also, no two-factor authentication, so need this as well. Notifications sounds and vibration editing is also needed--only option is to turn off notifications which is not ideal.
2 ★The base station and cams that connect are great, but the doorbell and flood light that I have still do not after promises they would. The floodlight and doorbell cam are extremely slow to connect to your phone despite moving my router closer to those devices. Take caution on anything that doesn't connect to the home base as their slow and not reliable at best.
3 ★Its a good system however the alarm could either do with being louder or and additional sounder shoud be offered to add to the system. Also the camera is supposed to hav AI that only notifies if a human is spotted. The camera notifies you of sheets flapping, bumble bees near the camera etc. So the AI needs some work. But it is still a good system and easy to install.
3 ★So far, everything is working as intended. I do wish that when I get an alert and load up the app that the camera will load faster. Also, it's still a little too sensitive. Even with the lowest detection for motion detection, I get upwards of 70 notifications a day telling me someone's been spotted. I live in an apartment and the sidewalk in front of my apartment is a bit high traffic. I don't want to have to turn off the motion detection just to stop the constant notifications when I'm at work
4 ★I have this device for a year. Last month I recommended it to a friend. She purchased the door bell camera and a flood light camera. She had a minor problem with the flood light camera after installation. She said customer service resolved her problem and sent a new 1 out to her 2 days after her claim. That's the type of customer service I would want help from when I have a problem or concerns. I have recommended it to 2 of my coworkers as well. I am planning to buy more products . Excellent
2 ★Sort of works ok... No local video storage. Activity Zones fail (motion anywhere in field of view triggers capture regardless of defined zone). Tree branches blowing in wind triggers motion. Human detection only works if camera is pointed horizontally at people, not if pointed downward. Battery life is great. Video quality is better than Arlo.
4 ★Easy to set up and range better than expected. Settings easy to adjust and quality image good. Overall its a good piece of kit that's not failed me yet. Only to remember your phone has good WiFi wherever you go out when you leave the house as you won't be able to stop alarm if tripped.
