2 ★Needs improvement on UX. The big open space on the front page can be better used for the acoustical settings instead, which shouldn't need swiping cards because users can't jump directly from Neutral to Director to without going through Club, Movie, Speech. HARDWARE: PXC-550 II is awesome FIVE STARS. Best sound, BT multipoint done correctly, and comfortable. A USB-C plug would make them superlative 5.5 stars.
1 ★The latest update made the app unable to connect to my TW2, meaning I can't change the controls or anything. Hopefully it gets fixed soon. The issue still persists. Also, to clarify, the phone can still connect no issues, it's only the app that can't.
3 ★Very poor equalizer, only 3 bands and narrow db adjustment range. I discovered a fix for the connectivity problem with the app. If the headset is paired with a computer and this app fails to connect to the headset, try turning computer Bluetooth off temporarily while adjusting the headphones settings in the app.
1 ★Despite saying it supports HD4.50s, it does not. Also it's list of products it apparently supports is appallingly short. It should be a relatively simple process to make at least most of their products within the past few years compatible, and to get this list of compatibility right. Not worth the installation space. Download an APK for the old captune instead.
2 ★Super basic. Take notes from Jaybird. Their equalizer is amazing. With presets from the public to pick from. Sennheiser you have fantastic sounding headphones. But the app can be so much better.
1 ★Previously, I have been able to connect by HD 450BT's, but recently, the app will detect them, for a second, but ultimately not connect. I've reset the app, uninstalled and reinstalled, everything. Ultimately, just makes the app utterly useless.
2 ★The fact that this app only does one or 2 things (update firmware and equalizer) makes it useless for me. The transparent mode in calls was awful and there should be other options to provide finer control.
1 ★The earbuds work amazingly well and connect to my phone automatically, but the app couldn't find its way out of a wet paper bag let alone connect to the earbuds. (Yes, I have location services turned on.)
1 ★Never buy HD450BT: I'm facing issue with microphone. While I'm on call, the other person cannot hear me out. My voice goes through phone microphone rather than my headphones microphone. I have checked all the settings but it's of no use. It would have been better if I would have gone with other brands as Smart Control has only 3 prefixes... There not at all bass settings and other stuff.. Truly disappointed from Sennheiser so these issues.. Expectations gone in vain..
1 ★The app finally opened but won't connect to my CX 400BT, it knows they're there just won't connect. Tried all the trouble shooting and goggled as much as I was able and still nothing. I guess I'll stick with SoundID even though they don't have a preset fot the 400BT, the Momentum works. Edit: as of April the app suddenly started working and while simplistic, it has improved the performance of my earbuds. Thank you so much!
1 ★The app still isn't able to detect my Momentum TW 2s even though they're connected. I have to use the Bluetooth settings on my phone or PC to see my device at all. This is a completely useless app!
1 ★The firmware update deboggle!! Like many others who own the Sennheiser Mommentum 2 and have done the firmware update, the earliest are useless now!! I have the SAMSUNG S21 Ultra, I cannot connect them since the update. This needs to be fixed. This kind of price point for this product needs a immediate fix.
