4 ★I have left 1 star review previously because of connectivity issues that were caused by Ad filter on my phone. This app was whitelisted and now it connects and synchronizes fine. The only serious bummer is that you need to use only this app to film. Having these issues: 1) Several scenes were wasted because sound was not recorded: Audio segment not available. 2) 4k video has very bad quality and jerky even with gimbal usage 3) Changing background was overexposed and you can't control it. So I don't use mic now.

4 ★Upgrading my review to 4 stars. The audio-only recording bug was fixed in the Sept 11 2018 version update. Now, I can export audio recordings to files or other apps. Recording options are still limited, especially video camera controls. You must use this app to control the video camera; external video apps are not supported. Review of older version of the app: The app lets you record audio+video or audio-only. Audio+video works OK, though the video recording features are kind of basic. Audio-only is broken. I can see the video from within the app, but the buttons to save the audio to a file or export to another app do not work. I will upgrade my review if these issues are fixed in future versions of the app. The microphone costs US$200, so I expect a quality app to control it.

3 ★Very early development on the application. A lot of room for growth and improvements. For me personally I find the following issues a must needed fix: - Video App has no AE/AF Lock - Video recording limit which mine stopped at 3.66gb and 10:45 time on 4k video recording (not cool if you have a ~4hr audio recording limit) - Share button is non functional especially in audio recording. Your unable to move the audio file out of the memory mic app. - Some connection issues but nothing too major so far - Background notification letting me know that it is still recording when I go to another application would be nice
