How to install tado° APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download tado° APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
Go to your phone Settings page
Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
Check the Unknown Sources box
Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files

1 ★Avoid this product at all costs. They are attempting to charge users for even basic access making this no better than a dumb thermostat unless you pay them each month. This kind of desperate money grab likely means they are suffering financially and could collapse at any time making your smart thermostat a paper weight.
1 ★You will soon have to pay 1 euro per month to access the app. I paid for the devices expecting to get basic app functionality and now they are locking them away. Edit: They claim that it is just for testing, but why would they tests it if they are not thinking of implementing it? I will be returning my devices while I still can and would advice everyone to do the same, until they confirm that this fee will never be implemented.
1 ★Incoming subscription fees just to use the app
1 ★Two days ago I got a popup saying I had to purchase a monthly plan to continue using the app. Not acceding to pay I lost access to the app, which rendered my thermostat useless (no way to change settings nor schedules). After 24h in this situation, having no other option than to pay, I clicked purchase (feeling as if it was a ransom) only to get a message saying it was a market study. Free access remained plus 1 year free auto-assist. However, the unnecessary anxiety and stress was unethical.
1 ★Money grabbing, and poor performance. On a few occasions in the last 3 months I've found the system running in the middle of the night with showing as being unable to connect/offline whilenstill having internet at the property. Having to manually reboot the controller module. Now I've been logged out on one device. and have been shown pop ups on the website saying there is going to be a subscription cost for what was previously free to use equipment I have paid for over 3years ago. Not happy!
1 ★When I set it on Away mode with Frost protection, it keeps heating the house and it's making me spend a fortune. Obviously the customer service is a stupid bot and it takes days for them to answer in person just copy pasting from the FAQ

1 ★introduced pricing to use basically functionality of app, after having spent 00s kitting my apartment out with physical thermostats. Will be requesting my money back if decision isn't reversed or halted.
1 ★Asking for more money and then hiding behind "its a marketing test" if any tado employees would be on my dev teams I'd fire them for ruining a brand that way. Horrible company with thusly horrible people. Fix one, fix the other. No real updates to speak of in 2 years time. No added value for customers. Don't get scammed by TADO. Pick any of the many alternatives out there.
1 ★Wireless reciever vey now and then shows as offline, All the how to help pages go around in circles saying check internet connection. Put simply if you go all in like I did and have a trv fitted to every room then when offline they all go down at once with no way of tuning the heating on, I was a huge advocate for tado as when it works its great but this is becoming a joke and I can't recommend anymore.
