Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

3 ★I downloaded the app to refresh my memory for hand signals. Unfortunately, you have to search slowly through a word list. Each time you press the back button it returns you all the way to the main menu. Also, the list is missing how to signal numbers (used when answering how much air one has left).
1 ★Padi told me to download this app to get my free e- card. I did. First it returned an error, then it claimed that the benefit had already been used. If this app can't handle something as simple as a C-card, I certainly won't use it for anything else scuba-related. This is a shame. The stack of plastic C-cards divers carry is a waste. Padi rightly tells divers to care for the environments in which we dive. Padi should fix this app & store certs in the cloud for those who don't need more plastic.
1 ★This app is trash. I was given a 30 day free eCard and was never able to download it. Followed the directions as far as installing the app, logging in, and clicking update. Nothing. Eventually contacted the PADI customer support who essentially blamed me for not contacting them within 15 days of the initial trial activation. This whole experience has left me with a bad taste in my mouth for PADI.
1 ★Pretty much useless app which looks like and runs like it was built by trainees.. the log book is a joke and total waste of time. Worse than that it costs $60AUD to show your credentials which is a total ripoff given there is zero cost for a database lookup. Without this the app is pointless. Most dive places can look your stuff up anyway so no need there to worry or waste your money. I thought PADI was a credible organization now I'm not so sure.
1 ★For an organisation such as PADI to have an app (their app) like this represent such poor functionality or usability is both severely disappointing and frustrating. No access to e-cards, eRDPml (how about other dive tables like EANx32, 36 etc?) and just navigates to a web interface anyway - why bother with an app, especially one thats so clunky, insecure (note single sign on doesnt work properly) and a waste of all things time/bandwidth/reputation etc. That said, would be willing to engage with and assist in the dev of a proper app that enables users/divers. Poor form PADI; this does not become you!! :(
3 ★This is a modification of my earlier 1 star review. I found the submission form for questions (it wasn't easy to find) and within a couple hours, a very nice webmaster sent me an email saying I had two accounts that needed to be merged, and to try to download again. It did work, even though my two PADI certfications are both duplicated now. Don't know how I got two accounts. I'll probably let the ecard expire and rely on a physical card, because paying for the ecard seems silly to me.
5 ★You have to activate your eCard on the padi website before it will show up! I see most 1 star reviews were saying that their cards didn't show up. Well that's true, if you install the app nothing will show up. You have to follow the link in the E-mail to log into the website, and hit the button that says "Claim" before the card will be available to download in the app. I see that the instructions aren't super clear, but follow all the steps the E-mail takes you through.
1 ★the interface is horrible. Dive logs do not show so I reenter them. All of a sudden they are and doubled. The eRPDml butting brings up a map. I paid quite a bit of money to PADI for my certs and online training. And have to pay for ecards when I already paid for the hard cards? That seams backwards. Bad app. Shame
1 ★Useless app. PADI emailed to say I had a trial e-card waiting. Tried to download it. Did not work. Emailed PADI to tell them. Got a reply saying their inbox was full. Tried to create a dive log. Entered all the details. Nothing saved. Updated to the latest app version. Passed another speciality course & received an email telling me to download my eCard. Guess what. It STILL doesn't work & the inbox is STILL full. Surely with all the money you take from us you can employ someone with IT skills?
1 ★Possibly the most useless, waste of space, time and money of an app ever conceived! If, like myself, you are thinking of downloading this to store you new ecard PADI licences DON'T!!! You will be wasting your time as they never sync and appear! Half the tools don't work, it fails to locate dive centres and sites and also loses logged dives. If you feel the need to download something useless to clog up your phone go ahead but you'd be better off taking pictures of existing physical dive licences than using this junk!!!!
1 ★One of the worst apps I have ever used. The interface is terrible. What really pissed me off is after being an active teaching instructor 7 years, I have to pay for my eCard? Are you kidding me?
1 ★*Don't even bother* Was hoping the app would be better than the shambles of a website but I was wrong. The app is worse... the eRDPml links you to local PADI centres. You look at the different categories and you press back and it takes you to the home page not just the page previous. Uninstalled and I'll just use the good old fashioned plastic eRDPml! Hopefully PADI sorts this app out but I highly doubt it 🤦‍♂️
