How to install DiveMate (Scuba Dive Log) APK on Android phone or tablet?

Q: What is an APK File?

1 ★I reset my phone and now all of my dives are gone. I paid for the full expansion pack, thinking that my dives would be saved, now they seem to be completely gone. I made the mistake of trusting these guys and did not make a paper copy, so now it is nearly impossible to relog all of my dives. I should have known better. I got burned a few years ago by DiveBuddyPro and lost all of my dive logs when they fell off of the face of the planet and now I've lost all of my dives because of another app.
1 ★I used DiveMate and logged 20+ dives from Dec 18 till Feb 2020. Haven't dived remaining of the year I just opened my app and nothing is there! I try to sync it with my device but it says to pay for the data pack. So my logs are hostage to paying for them? What a terrible experience I will revert to using a physical log book and do not recommend using an app which at any point can make your logs disappear.
3 ★Thank you, I was able to transfer data. However I have few other issues. I cannot change my computer in diver, and on some dives some controls are not editable. For example cannot select water type for my last dive.
4 ★it's a super detailed log, but not all that easy to learn. I'm having trouble adding dive locations, and I don't know if I can put a location in my log without saving the location first? I'm sure I'll get used to it but for now I'm kind of fumbling.
5 ★Downloading dives from your computer takes all the drudgery out of updating your log. The app is well thought out and easy to use. There are many import and export (backup) options. The developers were responsive to my requests for importing from my old dive log format.
4 ★Great app. A huge feature addition would be to allow keyboard entry of dates instead of picking from a calendar. I have historical dives going back to 1995 that I need to manually enter and scrolling through the calendar that far back will take forever.
5 ★I love this app. Use it as my primary dive log. I am an instructor and take pictures of my students in the long with each dive as well as have them sign my log book. Demonstrates the need and desire to record dives. Wish it had a decoompression dive type. I use it with Perdix AI and Teric and have no problems with transfering dive data.
2 ★Looks nice but that's it ! In one word "Rubbish" terrible trying to make a connection with my Shearwater Perdix, and once it's connected it does not transfer half or more of the dives, really not worth the bother, better staying with an app that works, "Subsurface"
5 ★Crash when adding buddies to a dive. [Edit 06.04.2019]: Reproducible under V4.7.2 and also V4.8. Both crashlogs send. Sometimes app just disappears without popup to send info. [Edit 13.04.2019]: Problem resolves, fantastic support of developer, star rating adjusted to 5.
5 ★Picked this up to use with my Mares Puck Pro. Using A USB OTG adapter and it works great. While in cozumel I had my dive master sign my log and he was dumbfounded with how easy and detailed it was. The only thing I need to figure out is an easy way to sync devices and backup with Syncthing.
4 ★I've used it for a couple of weeks now and I'm very pleased with it. I'm using an Aqua Lung i770R computer. It is 100 times btter tha DiverLog+ which is total garbage with no tech support at all.
4 ★It is quite a comprehensive digital dive log that allows divers log anything everything about their dives. Most importantly, it supports almost every dive computer that is currently available on the market today.
