Going to the grocery store and need to jot down some items down to remember? A group of friends sending you to Taco Bell and you need to jot down all their orders? Well instead of texting yourself, just use JOT! - Notes Widget to save a quick note!

JOT is a quick one-page app, with accompanying widget, designed to look slick and have you ready to write in one tap.

How to install JOT! - Notes Widget APK on Android phone or tablet?

Download JOT! - Notes Widget APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:

Update Phone Settings

Go to your phone Settings page
Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
Check the Unknown Sources box
Confirm with OK

Go to Downloads

Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
Tap the APK file you downloaded (com.simplidget.jot-v2.4-ApkClean.apk)
Tap Install when prompted, the APK file you downloaded will be installed on your device.

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

5 ★And now I have the perfect "visible reminder" I went through dozens of apps to find. My jotted text is right there looking at me whenever I pick up my phone. When I need to jot something additional, I touch the widget and type my current note to myself. I can start typing before the beginning of my last note if I want it to be visible on my widget, or I can start typing at the end of my last note if I want it discreetly not visible. You don't need two widgets, this is perfect. Flexible & simple.

4 ★The design is amazing and I love that you don't have to open an app. But I am unable to use it to write more than one note. It just writes over the old one. It will not work to make two separate ones. That or the ability to create columns would make it perfect.

4 ★This is exactly what I was looking for but I have a suggestion. First of all when I click jot, it should automatically open the keyboard for me to type. Not open another jot textbox for me to click again. And if I have a bunch of things on Jot it should let me scroll. Other than that this is an awesome widget!!

5 ★Is a settings page where we can customize the font size and possibly background colour and text colour. It's not really necessary and I think the app is really great already but it would be nice. Other than that, fantastically simple app.

5 ★I'm having mixed feelings about this app. Because I literally love it so much that even though I have several other note taking apps that I use everyday. I can't find myself not keeping this one. So I guess good job, however I do wish that I can open this from the notification bar. I would be complete.

5 ★The only complaint I could find. Its a great sticky note replacement otherwise. Paste would make it perfect, but its likely not an easy issue to solve for a clean easy access widget.

5 ★I'm a service tech and this app is handy and Exactly as described, you touch the widget and you type a note. No frills, no bells or whistles, just simple. Imports perfectly to my other apps where reminders are possible if I need it. Hope the dev.works out a check list version of this app.

2 ★Out of nowhere my option to use the widget just went away.. All widget sizes went away and the only way I can use it is if I tap the app but when I close it, it goes away. I want the widget back! :'(

5 ★There can't be two or more jots. If i take a new widget, it already contains writings from the previous jot! Try to solve this issue! I need to use two jots at once.

4 ★I hope it's not abandoned, because it's really useful. Could do a bit of ui update (just icons and copy paste menu), and it changes the direcion of the screen to landscape even if it is not active.

1 ★No way to simply paste a copied text ... Tried holding down for it to appear.. Nope.. So I'll give 1 star untill this feature is added.. Thanks.. Please try harder..

5 ★Love the simple design! I didn't know how to get it on my home screen but finally sorted it out. I didn't realize I needed to get a widget for the message. I like the different sized widgets for the message box. Thanks for a great app!
