How to install SensePeanut APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download SensePeanut APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
- Go to your phone Settings page
- Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
- Check the Unknown Sources box
- Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
- Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
- Tap the APK file you downloaded (com.sense.peanuts-v1.0.1-ApkClean.apk)
- Tap Install when prompted, the APK file you downloaded will be installed on your device.

Q: What is an APK File?
A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

3 ★Still some bugs. Don't know if this sensor or the app is in charge. Retrieving the temperature of the passed day from the sensor to the app takes much too long for this few data.
3 ★Needed to adjust the temperature offset to get reasonably accurate measurement on the thermopeanut. Still need to check out IFTTT functionality.
2 ★GuardPeanut was advertised with IFTTT and impossible to found so far, I will change my grade when it will pop. If I searched at the wrong place, please tell me where is it. EDIT: Thanks for the answer, a date of released is in the pipe?
3 ★My room is always colder or hotter than the hall where my nest thermostat is. Thought this finally could solve my problem. It works sometimes, but not all times. And I don't know why. Sometimes it communicates well with nest and set the temperature. Other times looks nest just ignores the peanut (or peanut doesn't send nest the target temperature. Don't know). Hope they can fix that. It's a great idea to fix that lack of remote sensors on Nest... ***UPDATE 12/23:support team is great and working to fix that
1 ★The battery drains within a week even on the highest interval measure setting. No notification or anything the battery is low. I'm not using it anymore...
1 ★This states that it is ifttt compatible. But when you try to connect it through the app it creates a pop-up that says "coming soon". If it is not currently capable of something, you are lying when you list that as an option. I placed my order specifically for that ability.
5 ★I have it on my keychain and it works perfectly with my S7. But a small feature request for the app, please add a widget. So I can see the temperature right from my home screen. ;-)
4 ★The app seems to be working quite well. My ThermoPeanut connects fairly quickly and logs the temperature every 30m. I really hope that it will be improved and more features will be added as new peanuts become available
1 ★Bought the thermopeanut. During the set up process it downloaded some new firmware but then failed to install thus leaving me with a small red brick. I've emailed sen.se but received no reply so product was returned to Amazon. Historically, they've replied to customer comments (here and on Amazon) but I haven't seen anything recently (and no Twitter posts)... So I'm starting to wonder if they're still in business???
1 ★Before all the updates I had my thermometer peanut on 3 minute updates and the battery lasted at least 6 weeks. Since updates my battery drains in a week, even with update set to 30 minutes
