Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

2 ★I have a turbo vado 3 2020 and l can't get the TCD on "update mode" . I have watched the tutorial video but my screen has only 3 pages in set up and not 5 as shown in the video and there's nowhere an option to out the device in update mode. Will OTA updates for the motor become eventually available for our ebikes too?
1 ★The app doesn't work. My £6000 bike can't be registered for warranty, or be tuned, or adjusted, or checked, because the app doesn't work. It just won't find the bike and sync.
1 ★Wish Spec would get this App right. I've found it to be quirky and unreliable. Using BLEvo now most of the time.
2 ★This app is poor. It worked fine for the first few weeks with my Samsung S9, then decided it was no longer going to connect to it. I ended up clearing data, uninstalling and reinstalling the app and it worked again. Just come back from a ride where it wouldn't connect, and none of the above has worked. Putting me off ever buying Specialized again.
4 ★Two small changes to the map could make it fantastic. 1) The small red button to find your current location is far too close to the 'stop ride' button which makes it very hard to use if you have large hands. If this button could be moved up to the top right of the screen it would be much better located. 2) There appears to be no way to set the map to orient in the direction of travel. Instead it is permanently set to North. If these two adjustments could be made it would be a 5 star app!
2 ★I have had numerous problems trying to get the app to connect to my bicycle (Levo HT). Sometimes it will connect if I reinstall the app, but lately even that fails. The app is okay when it does connect. One can adjust the assist level, check battery condition and charge state. There is a ride tracking section which tracks distance , elevation changes and time. It would be nice if it allowed the user to add an annotation to the record of the ride.
5 ★Is disappointing to see that the app keep disconnecting being in 0.3 m range( on the bike). Update: For everybody that have the same issue, check if you have any other device already connected to your phone before using this app. I had my Samsung watch connected via Bluetooth and that was the reason; as soon as I disconnected my watch, everything was fine.
3 ★After writing a critical review I have to update my experience. I couldn't get this to work, initially consistently and latterly at all. I seem to have solved the problem by reinstalling again, but this time on the internal memory. It now works as intended but I may have to uninstall it as my phone has limited available internal memory. That would be a shame because I haven't figured out what some of the data means yet.
4 ★I like a lot about this app. Unfortunately, one of the coolest features to me, is tracking my ride. That doesn't seem to work any more. I just get a few weird lines that don't follow my route and the map doesn't even appear. I contacted customer support 2 days ago. I am hoping they will respond with how to fix it. If they do, I would definitely give the app a higher rating. UPDATE: Thanks. Nothing from CS but i fixed it by changing loc srvcs to on always instead of just when app active.
1 ★The app will not connect to my Levo after my phone was updated to Android 10. My wife's phone has Android 9 and has no problems connecting to the same bike. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app but that didn't fix the issue. The problem is not the bike, it's the app that for some reason doesn't work well with Android 10. My phone: Galaxy S10+ Wife's phone: Note 9
5 ★Been using this app since May 2018. Found it very useful for a few months to work out the optimum settings for me, a keen cross-country rider. Typical rides will be 30-50km with 700-1200m of climbing. I track all my rides using Sports Tracker which meets my needs and wants almost perfectly and is better than the Mission Control tracker. Now: I hardly ever use it as I can monitor battery consumption on the bike and settings don't change. Can't think of any improvements at the moment.
2 ★LG4 running Android 6. Downloaded this app for my (relatively expensive) new electric assist bike and followed the instructions The result was mainly, enter pin->connected->disconnected, enter a new pin->connected, disconnected...etc. After multiple pin entering festivals it finally worked...sort of. Loaded a custom power profile and added a chest strap HR monitor that never did connect with the console even though it was added successfully. The bike is fantastic, love it, can't get enough of it. The App is comparatively under-performing and broken. In today's product environment a complementary App should be at the same level of quality and excellence as the physical product. Just like the bike, customers expect that it works right the first time. That means testing across multiple devices and operating systems well before product launch and throughout the life of the product as new devices and operating systems enter the digital market. Please fix this App.
