1 ★Trailfrorks screwed me when I really needed it. I have been using trailforks for a simple map with trail overlay, to see my location on the trail. The other day while riding a complicated trail network, I opened trailforks to find the greyed out overlay "GET PREMIUM" preventing me from finding my location or my next trail in the moment. I was lost, and the tool I was used to prevented me from figuring out where I was. I will not support this company after failing to support me when I really needed it.
1 ★This app used to be so great it was a handy tool for checking out trails all over the world. However them introducing a paywall which prevents you from accessing trails is disgusting and it takes away from a community that relies on this app to find and explore new trails.
2 ★Keeps failing, restarting the phone sometimes helps but it freezes at the beginning of a tracking event. Uninstall and reinstall is good for a couple weeks.
1 ★App does not even record right anymore and you now want me to pay for it? Was fine the past couple years, same phone, all location settings and battery on full blast, so its not my phone thats the problem. Not upgrading if that's what you want me to do to get BASIC functionality.
1 ★I am really disappointed that Trailforks started charging to view trails outside your "home area"....I'm not paying $3/month for something I'll use once or twice a year...guess I'm switching back to MTB Project...bring back free at least countrywide maps & trails and I would gladly accept "intrusive ads"
1 ★I have had Trailforks from the Start, since they were going strong on Pinkbike and MTBR! This new version Sucks!!!! Lets also not forget, now its going to cost money to use the service, no thanks, not only have you made it worse, but you want people to pay for your lousy app? Steer clear, I'll gladly spread the word on PB and MTBR as well...
1 ★Used to be great until they limited every useful feature to the paid version. If you were to charge a one time free for the app, I'd gladly pay it, but I'm not getting in a subscription
1 ★Bought the Pro version and my 1st ride with Pro I stopped to take some pictures and the app crashed and I lost half my ride. Eventually it came back but only my time, my distance reset to 0km. Disappointed.
2 ★Worked nice during trial but not really essential enough to subscribe.
1 ★Crashes in about 20 seconds every single time i try to use it. Any ideas? Ive uninstalled/reinstalled, tried to update my phone but no difference. And to think i pay for this service!!!! I might just jump over to All Trails. Unecceptable.
1 ★Great app until they took all of the all of the hard work from the Trailforks community and stuck it behind a paywall. I understand and respect their right to monetize the app but the way they went about it was pretty lame.
