1 ★The latest update (since Jun 2023) is absolute trash. Coupons don't show up when advertised on print. UI elements appear to not render fast, giving me the impression that any dynamic data it needs is fetched online. My mom's iPhone appear to get everything which is stupid because it leaves us, Android users, unable to get all the coupons available. Whoever is in charge with programming the Android app needs to be fired. (Jul 19 2023 update: still trash. Coupons not shown for weekly sale.)
1 ★I just uninstalled it. I've had issues with some other supermarket apps, like ShopRite for example, but I was able to make adjustments and now it works fine, not this app. Most of the time it doesn't even work. And here's a fact for you, out of the 89 total apps on my phone, Stop & Shop is the ONLY APP THAT WILL NOT UPDATE!!! For months, will not update, only app. Useless. I avoid the store now as well.
3 ★Nice app but there's an issue when it comes to using coupons. You clip coupons and they don't show up in your saved clipped coupon section or I try using a coupon but there's no way to scan them. I thought maybe it registers with my card so once I scan my store card through the app the discount will come off at the end but nope. Either I'm missing something or the app has an issue.
1 ★Hard to use, confusing. It takes me over an hour to place an order, and you loose your spot while trying to navigate the app. It's the only grocery store around sadly, I have to use it. Hands down the most frustrating app I've ever used. The screen is immediately confusing right from the home page, there's a lot of pictures of different items but the list is hidden between pictures of people and kids playing or eating features items. I'd rather just see a picture of the actual item.
1 ★Waste of time. I spent 30 minutes looking everywhere for where to clip the coupons I wanted. Searched specific item, but no coupon to clip, I even found the item in the advertisement where it said there was a digital coupon. Still nowhere to clip it. I gave up and clipped every single coupon that existed. I still didn't get the 4 discounts I was supposed to get. Want to give feedback through the app, and can't.
1 ★Worse app ever. It is very hard to clip the specific coupons. You have to go over 200 coupons to find your specific one. Misleading advertising if you can't find the coupons. I stopped going to this supermarket due to the poor experience of the app. You are better off going to Starmarket or Shaws. Their app is 1000% better than this one.
1 ★I am having a horrible time just trying to get on the app. And then the customer service number is for online orders so you have to get connected with one them first but before that you're on hold for about 20 to 30 minuntes and then once connected with them, they will transfer you to the right department instead offering the right department in the prompts.
1 ★Upgrade is terrible . Prior app was amazing, now it's just confusing and honestly a downgrade. 1. You can't even view the circular it only shows you the weekly specials. Old one you're able to view the entire circular and digitally circle it 2. The coupon is not one continuious page you have to click on "more pages" which brings you down the the end of the coupons where you have to scroll from bottom up. And if there's another page? Same thing happens after you click more pages again.
4 ★I have been using this app for over 10 years. The biggest problem is the longer you shop the slower the app gets until it eventually freezes. Lately there have been issues with sale prices reverting back to regular prices before they expire. Customer service is hit or miss when there is an issue. Some reps are clueless and others are great. They're always pleasant. Sometimes they don't answer or even acknowledge emails, so you have to call. The drivers are terrific without exception.
1 ★Went from working to unusable in one update. How hard is it to leave something alone? Everything that worked before is now super slow or doesn't work. Why does it take 4 minutes for the app to open? Just horrible update. Seems like nobody did any testing or basic feature checking. Edit: Tried the app a few more times on other devices. Completely unusable. Basic stuff takes forever to load. Basic features that were there before are gone. Still horrible.
2 ★Both the UX and UI are worse in the newly restructured app. Everything has more steps. Using it no longer feels fluid. Even the branding and colors feel more clunky and off-putting. They may have consolidated multiple apps for various goals (in store shopping, peapod, etc) but now it is more jumbled, and the paths that were once distinct and easy in their own self-contained apps interfere with each other and make this a chore. Bad choices by the team working on this app.
2 ★I was trying to give Feedback through your app but was unable to. I love your app, in many ways it's easy to use, such as switching between stores since I patron several Stop & Shops. But there's one way it could be better. If I look at the Weekly Ads on the app, it tells me if there's a Digital Coupon. It would save a lot of time if I could enable the Digital Coupon for that item right there instead of having to go to a separate page to find a given Digital Coupon.
