1 ★SCAM Well, it's officially been 4 months since my lost package and no news, no solution, not even answering my emails. I'm pretty sure they blocked me, because I don't even get t The app consumes massive data. The main problem is the actual service! Lost package for four months now, emails and all, no response. I have seen this has happened to many customers (check their social media for comments), so honestly what's the point of developing an app if the sales service is a fraud.
5 ★I purchased these last year, and they were brilliant. The site is really good to navigate around, and the quality of the products is great.
5 ★Love the app but would like products to say they are sold out without having to click on them. Swiping pics was effort too. Great app though, love the layout and products reviews and descriptions etc. Edit: App now says if product is sold out whilst scrolling and works better too. Reviews and editors picks are great. So much to choose from. Only quality brands. Orders are always dealt with impeccable efficiency. Love this app. A little too much €€
4 ★Very good and reliable online retailer. Always super happy with my purchases. The points system and redeemable perks are good too. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is sometimes the app doesn't run too well, stating its not connected or having long load times, not loading the products list properly etc. This isn't a constant issue, just happens sometimes.
3 ★Sometime difficult to navigate, it used to be simpler to use and then after an update, can't remember when, the use of the app doesn't flow as well as it used to. Like there is no main homepage on the app, you have to kind of know what you are looking for rather than just being able to browse. In a way that is a good feature as you are saving money because there isn't so much impulse buying but the push notifications are very effective at getting me on the app and looking at things 🙈
2 ★keeps crashing constantly. doesn't show the full range of products identical to website. reference articles (know more) aren't hyperlinked. this app seems to be in it's infancy. I am new to beauty bay. if the developers don't work on fixing this issues soon, I would be forced to uninstall it. that would be a shame!
1 ★DOESN'T WORK FOR JAPAN - 日本では使えない! The payment wont go through and you'll waste your time trying to get payment to be cleared. I've tried all Credit cards, Debit cards, and PayPal on laptop, mobile, and this app, and they all won't allow my purchase! I've spent two entire days contacting my banks, credit card companies, and PayPal trying to see whether it's some settings or security issue, and they all say the problem is with Beauty Bay. I'm so frustrated. Will update if BB can resolve this....
4 ★The app is great for navigating and finding products. The only issue is that sometimes the item images you click on or are scrolling past do not load. A key part of buying makeup and skincare is seeing it, so that needs to be sorted. Otherwise, great app unless you are trying to save money....
1 ★The app is very disappointing. Takes ages to open. Items get added to cart automatically. Promo codes doesn't apply even if valid. Billing details are not clear. The worst thing is online payment option doesn't work at all. I tried with many debits and credits but of no use so i had to go for COD option for which they charge 20 aed for delivery and 40 aed for shipping( which is not mentioned in billing details). Disgusting app!
1 ★False advertising, poorly run app/site. Constantly advertises X% off then when you put the code in its less. At the moment they are advertising a 25% off unidays code but it's actually only 20% and apparently is only on specific items which of course they don't tell you either. I regularly end up on look fantastic or anywhere else really, I don't appreciate false advertising to try and trick customers .
3 ★It has some great products and brands all in one place, but the layout when searching for a specifoc product isn't very organised, and it won't tell you if that product is sold out until you click on it and scroll down to add to basket or look through colour options. Also I wish there was a student discount available!
4 ★I love Beauty Bay everything alwaysarrives on time and I've never had a problem with the app. However since the new update I am unable to see my 'liked' products as the app just closes. I have closed the app on my background and re opened the app but the same things happen. Can someone tell me if they are having the same problems or if its just me.
