Der Waldentwicklungsplan stellt die Waldverhältnisse auf Bezirksebene dar, zeigt die Funktionen des Waldes auf und soll durch vorausschauende Planung dazu beitragen, dass die Funktionen (Schutz-, Wohlfahrts-, Erholungs- und Nutzfunktion) des Waldes bestmöglich zur Geltung kommen und sichergestellt sind. Gleichzeitig ist er eine wichtige Grundlage für forstpolitische und forstrechtliche Entscheidungen, forstliche Gutachten und waldbezogene Planungen. Besondere Bedeutung kommt dem Waldentwicklungsplan im Rahmen der Sicherung der öffentlichen Interessen am Wald zu. Die dargestellten Pläne haben ausschließlich Informationscharakter. Der Inhalt dieser App kann sich, insbesondere aufgrund unterschiedlicher Aktualität, von der Publikation des Waldentwicklungsplanes laut ForstG unterscheiden.Weitere GIS Darstellungen zum Waldentwicklungsplan bzw. zu forstrelevanten Schutzgebieten und Geodaten, die die Funktionen des Waldes beeinflussen, finden Sie unter der Homepage www.waldentwicklungsplan.at.
