Download Geobells: Location Reminders APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
- Go to your phone Settings page
- Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

2 ★Good concept but doesn't seem to be working. 1st of all I have a hard time setting up the location, I'm not able to select a particular location from the maps (I would love to see the locations saved in my Google maps like home/office to be able to select from Geobells). After setting up the location it doesn't notify my reminder even though my gps as well as data connection is On.
5 ★The service works great when an alarm is set. My problem is half the time it can't find the location I'm looking for when setting an alarm, even when I input the address. (Addresses Maps has no problem finding) If this issue gets fixed, I will be happy to change my review to 5 stars. UPDATE: The update seems to have fixed the problem. Changing my review to 5 stars.
4 ★This is a great start compared to other similar apps. Add the ability to skip a reminder until next time you're in the area. Maybe have an auto poll interval based on how far away the closest task is. No need to poll very often if task is 20 miles away, for example.
5 ★When I open the app it gives me a pop-up that says I must enable gps, network, wi-fi at "location settings" and then gives me two options: Quit and Location settings. If I click on Location settings it doesn't matter what I turn on or off, I can't get past that pop-up window that asks me the same thing every time, no matter what my location settings are. Frustrating.... UPDATE: I've thought to reboot my phone and I seemed to have gotten past the pop-up window and have set a task, will update my rating
5 ★This is one of the best apps there is on the store. For people like me who don't know what time I'll be at the place I want the reminder to go off, this app is perfect. Five stars!!
3 ★Accuracy of alert is not great.. Not sure if app or the GPS satellite needs to be blamed
4 ★When there are no reminders, polling interval could be increased. Also the service could be stopped for better battery usage.

4 ★Hi Neil, Saw your posts on the forums about your new app. This is the best geo-fence alarm implementation that I have seen, good job. Quick question (or problem/bug)—how the heck do you turn Geobells off? I don't need it running 24x7. I use it only for a couple of hours like during my commute home so I don't forget to do a couple of errands. I don't need it running while I'm watching TV on my couch. I notice that even after a force stop it relaunches right away. Keep up the good work and thanks for making a free version. I will certainly upgrade when this has been ironed out. Oh one more little nit-pick... I think the new app icon is too dark; it is hard to see in my list or against my wallpaper!
