1 ★Horrible app and horrible customer service. I have tried twice to order with slice with no success. The first time my order which was slated to take 45 min for delivery actually took an hour and a half. Slice ne er updates the delivery time so you are left in the dark if the delivery time changes. When I called they just say the driver will be there shortly. The second time after 2 hours of waiting for my food and calling slice only to keep being told the driver will be there but never came!
4 ★Happy to have a local friendly delivery app. Only issue is that I keep having to re-enter my address and because I live an apartment building, it doesn't autofill correctly due to the unit number. It's just a bit clunky to have to enter an address, because it won't let you into the app if you don't, them have to re enter the same address with the correct unit number. If you could just save your address, it be exactly what I want.
5 ★5 stars. BUT..here's some constructive criticism...the notifications are too much. It actually makes me not want to order pizza. it's like the 'extend your auto warranty' spam calls i get daily. i really dont want to disable notifications for this app, but may have to do so.
5 ★Great app. Love the support for local businesses, the variety of pizzarias on Slice is wonderful.
5 ★Slice has the cheapest fees of any food delivery app. Living in an old Italian neighborhood in the northeast, we have a lot of high quality apizzarias in driving distance. Slice makes it easy to order without having to shout over the phone to a busy restaurant.
2 ★Very annoying push notifications. I would understand, and even maybe be inclined to order something, if the push notifications offered some kind of deal. They don't. They just remind you that you should buy some pizza from them. Response back to Slice: You guys seem to have a response for every single negative review. Please realize that your responses tend to be a politely worded "nuh uh." I have many ways to prevent pop up notifications, including uninstalling.
1 ★HORRIBLE!!! The WORST customer service. I had to ARGUE with them to get a REFUND that I rightfully deserved. They tried keeping my money. I've tried several times with this app. If it's not one thing bad it's the other. You name it, the app crashes, they charge your card twice, but the worst is their customer service. UNPROFESSIONAL!!
5 ★Much better than the others and the charges for tip or delivery way better. Who wants to pay an extra $10 to $20 dollars for deliveries. The other companies rake u over the coals. I think they take advantage of people and especially during this pandemics. Shame on them!!
1 ★This is by far the worst app ever. First time I ordered the delivery driver never even knocked on the door I did not check mark for contact less delivery, so who knows how long the food was sitting out front thank God I went out to check the food was disgusting even though that the rating was over 4.7. I just tried to order again today and it says 25 to 30 minutes for delivery when I place the order I got the real estimated time, which was 85 minutes. I definitely do not recommend this app...
4 ★There are not enough delivery options. You can't even scan your card.I'm not giving a entirely bad review because they make checkout simple. I will give better review when I can actually order a pizza. Update: I changed my review and added another star due to request pizzeria option in the app, however the card scanner still will not work and we will see if my suggestions work.
5 ★Amazing App Always! Ive been using this app since the pandemic and it is the best. So easy, so many choices and the shops see the notes incase of special instructions. Never had an issue and once a Slice rep called me just to assure i made two different orders around the same time so it wasn't an error. Love Slice!
5 ★Exactly what it says it is. I order and pay online, I can tip on the app and it all goes to the shop. My favorite local place doesn't deliver, but I get a text that they got my order and as soon as it's ready. It's easy to use and I've found it works well with my busy lifestyle
