The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). 2 ★Just sits with the cast symbol showing on the TV screen as long as I let it run. App shows as connected to my Chromecast device. Like the concept, look forward to it working. UPDATE: Still no joy with the latest release.
1 ★Like many have said, this just leaves a blue cast icon on my screen. But thanks to M Billinge's review, I can use Google's Screen Cast in the Chromecast app which works very well. In fact, works better than the Chromecast built into tinyCam Monitor Pro which is a pretty useless app overall anyway.
1 ★It doesn't work. After 5 minutes of waiting with a blue cast icon I checked the proxy app and it just said "Media Starting". Like others, I would love to see this addressed.

1 ★As others have observed, it doesn't work, simple as that. It recognizes my Chromecast device, it appears to connect to it, and then it tells me it may take up to a minute to cast and to be patient, but it never actually casts anything.
3 ★Other apps work fine with Chromcast but this one just either does nothing or displays the blue Chromecast icon on the TV when I try to use ip Cam pro to cast a camera to the TV from my Galaxy 3 phone running Android 4.3. (Yes, I'm using the latest version of pro.) From my Nexus 10 tablet (running 4.4.4) it does cast, but when exiting it does not revert back to the default slide show.
1 ★....Galaxy Nexus phone while I can cast UTube Netflix from their apps, IP Cam fails. I launched is supplementary app and selected the otherwise working Chromecast connected device, but selecting the Chromecast display option from an image in IP Cam gallery mode yields nothing on the TV. I hope this gets fixed! *************************** UPDATE: Main app updated. Reinstalled (this) helper app. Still doesn't work. Regular Chromecast works in other apps.
