2 ★Works okay until there's a problem. I was able to make the reservation through the app for my flight, however when the flight was canceled by the airline I called Orbitz support. I opted to get a callback, which they did five hours later, only to quickly tell me I have to call American Airlines to make changes. Dealing with American Airlines support directly was a faster and more pleasant experience.
3 ★I wish it worked better. This is a great app for finding great deals, but when you need to pull up any information it craps out 99% of the time and won't even let you log back in. Extremely frustrating when you are on a trip with multiple stays, and want to be able to easily access your info
1 ★I can not get into my account to check anything. I start typing my email or password and after 1 or 2 letters then it won't let me type anymore. I have uninstalled the app and restarted my phone and still can not get it to work. It used to be great but now it's useless for me and can't get ahold of anyone for support on this app. Frustrating!!
1 ★I booked a flight in December 2020 for August 2021. The flight was canceled by Lufthansa. I asked for my money back. Orbitz sent me to Lufthansa but Lufthansa doesn't refund flights booked through apps, i have to deal with Orbitz. Orbitz said 8 months for refund which is not legal because they kept my money and others for more than a year. I didn't get any refund after 1 year and 3 months. I cannot get in touch with Orbitz customer service. I cannot get my money back. This app is a scam.
4 ★Best app I've ever used w/ many hotels and flight choices a great prices! Lately it's been very slow loading to access hotel lists, and the maps continuously crash when trying to enlarge or move around. Would also like to see more like to see more places of interest listed with mileage from choice of hotels listed. Especially in London!
1 ★HORRIBLE experience. I booked a reservation, using a coupon code, noticed a mistake, and called customer service. They said it's best to cancel and start over. Now I can no longer use the coupon even though it's been applied to a cancelled reservation. Customer service said the system only recognizes it as being used and says there's nothing they can do. That is ridiculous.
2 ★I be have used Orbitz for many trips and have not been disappointed until now. While in the app, it keeps telling me to "get the app" or "download the app". Redirected to make pre-arranged ground transportation, knocked out of app twice before i could confirm but CC showed it did?? In my opinion, the App needs to be tweaked quite a bit. Frustrating to say the least.
1 ★I've been an Orbitz user since it started. I'm currently a Platinum member with them. I had to cancel a flight due to the pandemic and trying to use the voucher on this App and their website is absolutely useless. I called their support for an even more useless experience. Stay away from Orbitz and the Expedia family. Even with travel insurance I've lost $875 in the form of a useless flight voucher.
1 ★We've been loyal Orbitz customers for years. Have used their insurance before, booked international flights, etc. Always had good experiences until the last few months. Recently have had flights canceled and Orbitz customer service gave us the run around telling us we had to make changes trough the airline while the airline tells us we have to make changes through the travel agent. The app doesn't help at all, if something changes, it isn't even updated with the latest info. We'll book elsewhere
1 ★Disappointed with their services. Booked a car rental in October & found out I was unable to rent the car due to being a local resident. Went back & forth trying to get my refund. The car rental said they didn't charge me need to refer it back to Orbitz and Orbitz kept putting it back on them. Still to this day never got my refund back! Will NOT book anything else through Orbitz! I was charged for something I couldn't use! Really?? Totally Disappointed, they should've stepped up!
1 ★My flight was canceled, but Orbitz will not refund my $5,000+ for 2 business class tickets. I have been on phone several times. They said they would give money back, but it's been months now. I'm exasperated; and even though I've used Orbitz 100+ times, I think I am finished with them. I have a friend who says she has had same issue.
1 ★I hate this app. Cant even use it, it continually tries to request permissions and eventually shuts down. Why an app like this would need to be so invasive, any app for that matter, but especially this one. Had to uninstall it complety other wise you cant use the web site. It keeps pushing you to open page in the app. Time to use another travel site altogether.
