4 ★- Fast distribution; 2 days. - Slick packaging, & minimal instructions, quality magnetized box. - Earphones & carrypod feel high quality, luxurious, weighty. - Arrived uncharged :-( - Micro charger, not c-type (outdated?) - Easy syncing with Android Pixel. - App voice gentle & reassuringly authoritative. - Comfortable; do feel 'cocooned'. But still feels strange as usually side-sleeper. - Main positive; app tailors product to your needs. - Pricey, but enjoying & recommend so far.
1 ★Doesn't work. I was a Kickstarter. And the headphones are pretty nice, but the app is terrible. It disconnects after 10 minutes and their excuse is that it's an Android issue. The app is also obtuse with almost no options. My Zeo was better.
1 ★all functionality removed without login and the login mechanism does not work. I was using the app fine previously with its minimal functionality but now can't do anything with it. tried resetting the password many times. these now are just insanely expensive mediocre quality bluetooth headphones that are overly warm and not that comfortable
4 ★OK so this app is work in progress. What it does do it does beautifully. Has yet to deliver all the functions advertised when I paid for the Kokoon headphones. It's a large app once you start downloading sounds/videos so would benefit from the option to move to SD card (or to store sound tracks on SD card).
5 ★Most nights I now use campfire sounds from Kokoon in the background as I listen to audiobooks and it's really helped me get to sleep quickly
5 ★I love my Kokoon headphones and the app is excellent. Really easy to use and the sleep programmes are really effective. I've struggled to sleep for years but this has changed my life!! I was seriously cynical about whether this would work but now I'm a complete convert!!
1 ★I have the same problem as other users...the app says there's no internet connection when clearly there is. If it's not fixed in the next few days, I'll have to send the headphones back...very disappointed
4 ★Overall decent app. Potential for more things to be added. I think an alarm function what plays waking music should be implemented, as by wearing the headphone locks out alot of noise. Waiting for some reporting of the EEG sensors as well.
3 ★The EEG monitoring doesn't work consistently. I pretty much use the headphones without the app. If they could make the multipurpose call up Google Assistant on a long press, that would be nice too.
1 ★To say that Kokoon's product is disappointing is the understatement of the decade. I bought them in 2015 and didn't get them until 2019, following literally months of emailing back and forth trying to get a straight answer on when they'd be sent and where they were. As it was, the time from telling me they were sent and when I got them was more than 3 months, and the same from when they arrived back to when I got my refund. They look and feel nice, they feel comfortable to wear around, and the packaging is good, but that's where it stops. The audio is below average, the build quality is sub par and prone to cracking. The ANC is useless (audio is WORSE when ANC is on) and connectivity is sub par at best. They sell them as a way to sleep, but they are not comfortable when worn to bed and prone to breaking, falling off, and disconnections - never mind the terrible ANC that introduces a hissing noise (not white noise, just low quality hardware) and amplifies ambient sound. Don't waste your time or money.
3 ★Headphones are fantastic and use them a lot. I havent really used the app much as I prefer Headspace Sleepcasts, Calm sleep stories and Pzizz as they are so good and the Kokoon app is a bit amateur but I look forward to better content and more functionality.
1 ★the headphones don't connect to the app 8/10 times. anc is virtually nonexistent. eeg and sleep tracking... well it has not worked for me so far. practically useless as sleep aid at best mediocre headphones! not worth the wait.
