Download the app
1. Connect to the Giant-Eagle-Guest Wi-Fi network in a participating store.
2. Scan your Advantage Card. We require permission to use the camera on your phone to scan your purchases as you shop.
3. Scan the barcode on each item as you place it in your cart or enter the PLU code on weighed items.
4. If you have weighted items, use the Scale Station in Produce or Bulk Items or go to the checkout lane and weigh your items on the scale.
5. Scan the barcode on the Pay Station to transfer your mobile order and check out.

1 ★Purchased a new phone, and the scan feature doesn't work

1 ★Constantly loses connection while still connected to the store wifi. Having to wait at the terminal for 15 minutes for it to reconnect makes this useless

5 ★With the shortage of help in stores today, this has come in extremely handy. You can use the app on your phone to scan as you go. Scan every item that goes into your cart. When you're ready to check out, you can go to any of the self check out registers or the Scan, Pay, Go station and scan the barcode on the screen and it'll pull your order up from the phone or handheld device (which you need a physical GEAC card to scan and it'll release a handheld scanner if not using your phone)

1 ★I'm self employed and was wearing my company jacket and hat. Shopped, used scan n go, went to check out. System is very loud announcing you're checking out and your giant eagle advantage card has been accepted. So I choose payment type and system tells me, please wait for assistance. I'm standing there with people all around as well and giant eagle associate yells behind me twice accuracy check. 2 people I know text me, thief! Jokingly I hope. Others seen my company name. Defamation suit coming!

1 ★Doesn't work half the time

1 ★The app requires you to scan your Advantage Card, but if the card is digital, you can't scan it. The old version of this app that you could log into was actually functional.

2 ★When I could use the app it worked, mostly. It'll frequently drop the wifi connection. You can still scan items but you need that connection to check out. I'd have to close and reopen the app sometimes several times before it would reconnect. Now that I have a new phone I can't use the app at all. When I open the scanner it doesn't scan, and it doesn't auto focus like it used to.
