A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★5 stars for potential. This app does something nothing else I've found does: It lets you make a list, then decide where to shop based on pricing & even offers alternative items if a store does not have the item. you can also split lists among several stores. It could use a lot of improvements. For example: 1) If an item is not at my chosen store, in the alternatives menu let me put it under a different store which does have the item. 2) Let me enter my desired qty, then do UOM conversion.
1 ★Great idea but poorly executed. I drove to a second store for a few items based on cheaper prices listed in this app, only to find the items were more expensive than the first store! Wasted my time, money and gas. There is no intuitive way to compare prices without adding items to a list. you can add favorite stores, but it does not prioritize prices from those locations. It also does not take unit prices in to account, and ignores preferences like organic.
3 ★While I find this app incredibly helpful for comparing prices at my local stores, its bugs and shortcomings are numerous. There's no option to remove an item from your list, and switching between list and compare views is a very confusing process. Additionally, adding items to your list requires location to be enabled, and I see absolutely no reason why scanning a simple barcode (which only works about 50% of the time, even with location turned on) should make it necessary to invade my privacy.
3 ★The app is pretty easy to figure out, the prices are accurate the majority of the time. i like that i can save shopping lists to reference when im in the store and that you can contribute to updating prices while shopping. I get frustrated sometimes with the automatic substitutions especially with items i know the store carries but the app says they don't. I wish there was a little more flexibility with picking which stores you want to compare prices with.
2 ★Good idea but needs alot of improvement to be useful. There's no way to add a grocery store manually (in my case, a nearby Aldi) that doesn't show up in the list. Also, for some reason, I can only compare one item from my basket at a time. When I try to compare the entire basket, I get NA. Lastly, it'd be nice if I was able to contribute prices by scanning a receipt. Currently, you can only contribute if you're at the store, and there are so many steps to add a single item, its inconvenient.
1 ★Not intuitive at all, which would be fine, if there were instructions anywhere on the internet. Very difficult to figure out how to delete lists. I chose my favorite stores, but when I asked the app to compare prices at my favorite stores it said I don't have any favorite stores. I tried different lists on different days and it would never recognize my favorite stores. I absolutely will NOT shop at Walmart ever no matter who cheap they are and it just kept showing me Walmart prices. I seriously hoped for this app to be good and spent several hours trying to make it work for me, but it did not. My advice is don't waste your time.
3 ★Still has a ways to go, but appreciated. Need to be able to delete baskets. Can't work out how to change item quantity or remove items from basket. Future update needs a way to also view price per ounce, which is critical for comparison shopping across sizes. Item page showing products needs sort by price option. Looking forward to improvements in the future, then can recommend to friends and family.
5 ★This app is EVERYTHING! It was a bit tricky figuring out how to compare prices, once I realized I needed to select each item on my list to pick a shortcut brand, it was SOOOO easy! I'm going to be using this before every shopping trip!! The only improvement I can think of is having a small tutorial for those that arent as quick to figure it out.
3 ★promising, but didn't feel finished yet. couldn't get whole shopping list comparisons. days since price listed is a must, how can we be sure the price is still there if groceries have seasonal, monthly, weekly deals. price variations due to increases in gas, inflation. it didn't show some stores closer to me & couldn't find way to add them. some stores are posting prices on their website maybe a crawler weekly/monthly to ensure accuracy? incentive structure can help like with gasbuddy.
1 ★I don't get the point of this app. I tried to use it for price comparison to build a shopping list but that wasn't feasible. You can't limit your search to stores within a certain distance so you have to search each product to see if it's available at your favorite stores. You can't compare prices based on nutrition so there's no way of comparing based on the true value of the products. It's faster and easier for me to look up the prices and labels online and compare on my own.
4 ★This app is a brilliant concept. I feel like I'm always wondering if I'm getting the best deal at a particular grocery store or if the store I'm going to will carry the item that I need to purchase. There are a few flaws, 1. Since its user data driven local stores don't always have prices in the app and aren't represented. 2. Some produce comes up separated by different quantities. sweet potatoes can come up as each, per pound, per 3-lb bag. I wish this was consolidated and convertible.
1 ★Don't waste you time or data on this! Just did my grocery shopping based on their comparison prices and went to the cheapest place they provided me. The prices for that store was totally wrong and for someone who receives monthly food stamps, we are on a very tight budget. Mid shopping had to recalculate my shopping list on paper! Disappointed and crying, I had to tell my son he couldn't get that 3.00 box of cereal with the prize in it but could get a .75 snack/treat for being such a great helper.
