2 ★This product was a real disappointment. Got it as a gift and I don't have the heart to tell my mom what a POS it is because she was so happy to get it for me. It took forever to set up on my phone, largely because it's not formatted to fit the screen but also because much of it is written in Japanese. The camera doesn't connect over 95% of the time and there's no explanation of the features or how to use them. Video recording simply does not work and I couldn't get a response from the developers for any help requests. Steer clear and look for products that have reliable reviews from more than one source (i.e., the manufacturer).
1 ★I've been trying to connect my new pet feeder for over an hour. Every time I input the wifi details, the app crashes and the connection fails.

I had a little trouble finding the app because the instructionsexpect you to have a qr code reader and I was trying to work around that.When I finally gave in and downloaded one, it was very easy to set up. Itis a bit touchy, in that you cannot add automatic feedings if the hopper isempty. I also wish it would actively alert me when the hopper is empty. Itdoes log each feed event though, and shows an empty status for the feed inthe list. An easy fix, I'm sure. Update: I've had this thing for a while. Ihave several feeding times through the day, but it seems to just feed whenit wants to or when I use the manual feed function. This may be a time zoneissue, but I have used the "sync to my phone's time" function in settings,so I'm not sure how. This app needs updating and I'm not feeling like thesupport is there.
