Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★It's a great switch for being at home. Use the Away function on the Hue app to control it from work.
5 ★I almost didn't download this app due to mixed reviews but I'm glad I did. The app works flawlessly and I'm very satisfied with using it.
5 ★Love the quick swipe down and turn on my hue lights it's super love it.
5 ★Great app. Does exactly what it's supposed to do in an efficient way.
1 ★Was great when it works, doesn't work anymore.
1 ★Keeps crashing
1 ★broken.
3 ★Setup was easy enough. Just install, add to quick tiles, then click to configure. A great idea if only it worked. For me, all it does is turn off my hue color lights, while my white ones stay on. The app seems to be aware that some lights are still on, since the icon does not go grey (something I assume it will when all lights are off). Since some lights are still on, this is where it stops. A new press does not turn the colored lights back on. Hue Bridge v1, latest software (apr. 12 2017), Nexus 6P with Android O Beta.
5 ★Excellent application. Makes my Flic button totally useless now! Push the pro version out and I'll buy that in a blink of an eye. It's so rare to find such a easy, true to form and material-ish app you definitely deserve recognition for that. 2 wishes for next version: multiple tiles for granular control, fine tuning on long press.
5 ★Not gonna lie, I think this is becoming one of my favorite apps ever. It's simple, clean, tucked away in my notifications and with the click of one button I can turn on the most used hue bulb which is in my room. It's shockingly more useful than I expected and easier to get to than the app on my screen and waiting for the Phillips hue app to open.
5 ★Update:- The application has broken for me a number of times in the past and each time the issue has been resolved either with an update or most recently by contacting the developer directly. His insight into the issue was professional, fast and efficient. Turns out the most recent issue I had been suffering was actually due to a faulty Network configuration within my own home! - Overall I would certainly rate this application a 10/10 for simplicity, ease of use and pure practicality. - I would also rate the Dev a 10/10 for his legitimate kindness and willingness to resolve issues that arise. Update:- I have now purchased the Pro Version to support the Dev!
5 ★Wow I had another app that kept crashing and it needed a constant notification on going. This one is totally awesome. Can't wait for the pro version, really hope that in the future the pro supports the Hue "out of home" thing for toggling the lights when not on local network.
