Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

1 ★Annoying waste of time Trying to buy top beer. Chose category, searched, filtered results. Start scrolling & trying to select a few. Everything shows "available" or "limited quantity." Fine, I can go with one of each. Except that none of my TOP 9 CHOICES get added to cart. Click on each item to find out they are "not available." Bad enough the store is out of everything. But, mainly, if the items are NOT available, why do they show on search??! What's the app for? Quicker to go to store...
3 ★My phone updated to Android 11 and now all I get out of the TW app is "This app is not supported on rooted devices." It's not a rooted device so 🤷‍♂️ Phone is a OnePlus 6T. Sounds like other users with this device are having the same issue. Fix your broke app. Edit: Somehow developer options got turned on on my phone, and that must have been what they meant. Turned them off in my phone settings and seems to work now. But jeez I had to figure that one out on my own after more than a year.
3 ★Good for looking up wines and availability at my local store. Major issue with shopping/ordering is vintage is often, actually usually, not shown. I never buy rose unless I know the year. Checkout process needs a little work. Some steps like payment are not as clear as they should be. Indication and use of loyalty ID and reward coupons work well.
1 ★Doesn't work on my S22 Ultra. When I try to open it, it flashes a "Shop your store" screen for a split second then crashes closed. (Consistently! It has NEVER opened past that brief display!) After a few times of flashing, I get the notice that the app keeps closing and would I like to close it or send feedback. None of these things help: force stop, clear cache, uninstall and reinstall.
2 ★Love the store but not the app! This seriously needs an update! It keeps closing while I'm using it. Also, my phone folds open and the display on the app is very distorted. The only work-around is to open the app with the phone folded, and then unfold it. An update is also needed so that I can login with my fingerprint or face.
1 ★App is slower than using a browser. It also refuses to open unless you update it now when there is an update available. There is also no way to close the app other than pressing the home button. If you can believe it even pressing the back button repeatedly does not close app, it just continues to sit there taunting you, daring you to try and close it while laughing.
1 ★App sucks. Dropped my review to 1 Star. This app repeatedly drops the information when I add a third party info to pick up my order. When that happens it takes extra phone calls to the store that shouldn't be required. The app also repeatedly asks for my credit card info (on individual orders) with a statement that "something has changed" when nothing has changed. It makes me want to take my credit card info out of your app. Fix this...You should be embarrassed.
1 ★I can't tell you how much I hate this app the more I use it. I take the time to find 19 different items for my cart. Get to the end and it states I can't place the order without an address that is literally in the checkout screen. The app has also just closed out unexpectedly many times and the functionality in several areas are just not intuitive. I had to go on the website and put in the whole order again and place it that way. Of course it doesn't save the cart that I had on my app.
2 ★Doesn't matter how many times you put in your local store location, it always resets it to a store in another city 50 miles away. Has a bug if you sign in and you've forgotten your password and you click the link they send you to re-enter your password, it automatically signs you in. Lets you shop by name for items you want, but they're always out of stock. Maybe that's just the store, but why allow a search on something you don't carry. Myriad other small and large annoyances.
1 ★App needs feature improvements. Very annoying shopping experience; ultimately i never completed purchase. Items saved to shopping list only transferred to cart one item at a time. Cart Checkout failed due to inventory at pickup location at the end of checkout process. App raised notification to remove newly unavailable items from cart and repeat checkout, but makes me guess which item(s) to remove from my cart of 23 items. I'll take my business elsewhere. Thanks for wasting my time.
4 ★Needs a couple of options. Needs an option to allow text messages when you place the order that sticks between orders. Set it forget it. Seems I guess you have to check off on this each time? I don't know, if so we forget, so we get email only. The problem is the email comes to me, not my wife who sometimes picks up the order Coming to next point. Allow more than one email address with an option to notify both. As is the account is setup with my email and wife's cell phone text.
1 ★THE WORST RETAIL APP EVER CREATED. Cole Lillie, you get an F for user experience testing. I'm also seeing tons of people highlighting all of the problems and no one from your team replied, that's a bad move. The 'suggestion' to turn on location will pop up 100 times in a row if you hit dismiss, the only way to use it without location is to enable then disable. Beyond infuriating for a retailer this large. As the digital product manager I'm asking you nicely to fix this annoying bug.
