Description

The simplest and fastest way to control your Philips Hue lamps!

Requirements
- WiFi connection
- Philips Hue Bridge
- Philips Hue light

General
Remotification: Philips Hue makes operating your Philips Hue lamps even easier. Connect the app once with a Philips Hue Bridge and all rooms and scenes are taken over in Hue Notification Control. In addition, it is possible to create your own groups and scenes. You can then choose which rooms and scenes you want to control from the notification. This notification will disappear when you leave home, and will appear again when you arrive. All of your creations, rooms, scenes and settings, are synchronized on all of your devices. You just have to sign in using the same Google account.

The app has a smart background service that always reflects the current status in the notification and in the small status bar icon. A change of the lamps will always be reflected in the notification, so you will need to wait a maximum of 10 seconds. The service is battery-friendly by only being active at times when its necessary: your screen is on and you are connected to a Philips Hue Bridge.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

3 ★Has been great up until Oreo when once connected it will randomly trigger my phone's vibrate function as if to warn me it has reconnected. Not sure what's causing it so 3 stars until we get a function to disable app vibrations as is unfortunately unusable for me right now.
4 ★Super convenient and fast - I've tried other 3rd party Hue apps and this is the only one so far without any lag. Only issue is the scenes aren't appearing in the notification even though I've enabled several in the app. Maybe there's a setting I'm missing somewhere, but I can't find it. It looks like the developer is very open to feedback, though, so I'm optimistic it'll be fixed quickly!
3 ★Update to previous review. Error in connecting is now fixed (very quickly by the developer btw) but still doesn't work on my pixel 2. Notification shows and the app connects so seems ok but the notification buttons can only be pressed once and then the app locks and needs a force quit. I'm guessing this is all Oreo related so will await an update.
1 ★Will not allow me to connect to the bridge
5 ★So far it works great for the simple task I use it for. Only recommendation I have (which I don't know for sure is possible) is have the option to turn off the notification icon when at a normal screen. I prefer to have no notification of it unless I swipe down to see it. Like I said, I don't know if it's possible, but the app currently is fantastic.
4 ★Great app but when I click on scene in notification, the scene color is not exactly the same than Hue app scene color. A bit more Orange. Relax scene for example.
4 ★Very convenient. Love the ease of it so far... is there a way to get the dimmer slide on the notification screen to actually slide? Other than that, great app!
3 ★It pairs up with the Hue app, so you don't need to set your rooms up again, but it randomly turns on lights and only works to turn them off manually about half the time. Great idea, but not quite there yet.
3 ★Nice when it works, but rooms keep disappearing, scenes never show up, and when it asked me to give feedback, saying yes asked what app I would like to open to do so.
5 ★Simple to the point. Works great. Needs to tell the use to tap bridge to pair.
5 ★Works great on my hue lights!
4 ★Its good but I just didn't like the notification in the top left...
