Description

Access your organization’s data securely anywhere, anytime with nBox, which safely synchronizes files among your mobile devices, Macs, and PCs. When you use NBox to synchronize and share files, you know that you are not putting organizational assets at risk by using applications and cloud storage services that have not been sanctioned by your employer.

Simply put a file into NBox and it is immediately available on all your devices via the cloud. Mark files as favorites and they will be stored on your mobile device so you can work with them when you are not connected to the Internet. Share files or entire folders with fellow employees, or audiences outside your organization safely and securely. The data is stored within your IT organization rather than in an outside cloud.

With your files stored in NBox, your data is automatically protected, preserved, secured and managed throughout its lifecycle and is always available. Lost your mobile device? Replace the device, download this app and all your data is back. No restores, no system checkpoints, no calls to the helpdesk; just you, your device and your data. NBox makes life easier: No more full email inboxes, no more wrestling with heavyweight content management applications, no more struggling to share large files. Just put the file into NBox and it will be available securely anywhere, at any time, on any device, and easily shared via a link rather than sending the entire file.

This app offers Mobile Device Management (MDM) functionality, via the Android Device Administration API. The Device Administration API provides device administration features at the system level. These APIs allow Administrator to set security policies (e.g. enable password, set a minimum password length) in accordance with the enterprise requirements. To be able to use Device Administration API, this app requires the BIND_DEVICE_ADMIN permission.

Supported Clients: Android phones, tablets

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Needs to be updated to address various issues. Not good idea to take full admin control of phone, force change phone lock screen access method to use 6-digit PIN. Fields need to be allocated correct text input (e.g. server field should not have auto-correct). Will stick to using desktop version.
1 ★nBox is very good & useful on Windows computers. Unfortunately, it is not good at all on Tablet/Mobile devices running Android OS.
1 ★force to set PIN
5 ★Much needed service given NUS data security policies, which rule out the use of many common cloud solutions. App works as expected. Does require that the device has a password (not jyst pin), but that's understandable.
4 ★Works just like Dropbox. If you have difficulties with this app crashing, try changing your login security to pin or phrase. Can't use pattern lock or the app will crash.
1 ★The moment I signed in to the app, it requests for adminstrator rights, which then screws up my screen lock.
2 ★Why is fingerprint (in particular) or pattern lock not acceptable?
4 ★NUS app asks for the domain to connect to the server... Why not just embed it?
1 ★If fingerprint authentication is good enough for banks and credit cards, it should be good enough to cloud storage. Forcing people to change their security settings is clumsy, unwelcome and does not recognise when a superior system is already in place. Uninstalled within a minute. Major fail.
