2 ★Honk is not what it once was. Good luck getting tech support. I had to uninstall my app and DL and install. It's a new version Good luck getting logged in. I keep getting email is already in use error and tech support is unreachable to clear the data on their end.
1 ★We were a honk partner for 3 years. After being a top provider in our area with a 5 star rating what we get..... our contracted rates thrown out the window and expected to work for very little.. If every provider deactivated the app mabe they would be forced to start paying what we are worth! I mean how does anyone do a 52 mile tow for $47.00 that is absolutely ridiculous.
3 ★Generally good app.
1 ★I used to rave about honk and got 6 or 7 calls a day from them, and was told I was a top provider in my area, now I get 1 call every 8 days or so since the new system is in place, it's obvious it's about quantity over quality.... So if you drive a 98 Buick and have a $40 trolly jack, and look like you've been on a 30 day meth binge, Honk will take you.
1 ★I don't get notifications when new job's are added, also if I do get notified it is a tow 60 miles or better away for less than 50 bucks! To say I'm frustrated with having to use this app because my employer tells me I have to is a gross understatement if I could turn it off forever I would! It's useless
5 ★Honk Inc. always been fantastic to run calls for. Unfortunately, since I relocated and changed names I have not been dispatched. I run the app and no calls come through. I hope this changes soon as times are tough! The dispatch and processing the calls are super quick and easy. I enjoy running Honk calls and providing service to others in need. Thanks Honk! Keith F. 1 ★The app is fine, functionally. But the prices offered to service providers in the " take it now feature " is an insult to the tow industry. Near or far, the price offered is unreasonable to the point that I can't believe there are others are fine with accepting tow jobs this low each day.
4 ★I've been working with these folks for about a year now. They've got their good points and their bad points. However the most important point is the pay rate. I think their pricing is fair and it's definitely prompt so I'd rather work with them than without them. I do have to advise that their technical support is atrocious. If you have app problems you are pretty much on your own. Job alerts go to several drivers at once. You have to be fast to get the job, and I mean super fast. FAST.
3 ★I love using this, great for Roadside assistance. However its frustrating I don't get the noises at all if I'm on the phone so I miss calls to dispatch and lately all notifications I do get its followed with the error code that I can't dispatch my driver.
2 ★Not a good user experience and location needs to be on all the time so they can watch you when ever they want vs just when using the app. The only time I am working is the only time I have the app open and only time I can help customers. If I am not working I don't need the app open nor do I need the app tracking me.
2 ★Since the last update every time my app goes off and i open it the job has already been accepted by someone else. How are they getting the notifications that much faster. I have literally been holding my phone when it went off and answered it before the first honk sound was done. The app has been getting worse with every update.
1 ★TERRIBLE APP!!!!!!! the stupid thing still sends you notifications even when you're logged out! Off Duty 2am 3am 4am in the morning trying to sleep HONK HOOONK HOOOOOONK, constantly anytime everytime. FIX IT!!!!!!! *Update* dozens and dozens of Glitches. this has to be one of the most terribly conceived apps ever
