5 ★Directed Smar Start is awesome. I live in Texas, where it's hot most of the year , and it's great to be able to start my car to start the cooling down process, before I have to get in it. During the pandemic, I have only been starting my car everyday, but only driving occasionally (I have an older battery.) This morning, Directed Smart Start sent an alert that my battery power is low. Probably time to replace the battery. Nice to have the heads up instead of running into a dead battery.
1 ★If you have to use special characters number capital letter no same letter in a row where you can't even register an account not worth it
2 ★Only works 30% of the time. Consistently says can't read Bluetooth connection at least twice before it finally reads a command. Have to be within 10-15 feet of the receiver for it to work. Defeats the purpose of this app to be right in front of my car to use it.
1 ★customer service is beyond pathetic. nothing but generic emails saying they will be in touch. going on 2 or 3 months. calling is more of a joke. they never bother to call back and it's always a 2 hour wait, or longer. very sorry I ever got the start installed and had to deal with these people.
4 ★So far so good. Loving it. Would be a 5 star but I do get an error every once in a while.
5 ★SmartStart works great and fast. I've been using the SmartStart for years now, and I can tell you that the upgrade is a must. I've had SmartStart since it was on 2g module. The 4g module is a must. Works almost instantly, with accuracy. I highly recommend it.
2 ★Garbage! Had this app for ocee 3 years with minor issues, no though its a different story. Never communicates with my phone, always give me an error. I have to reatart the app and then maybe just maybe it will communicate and start the car.
2 ★We renewed our service after a few years of not having it. The service does not work on either of our iPhone or Android smart phones. I have sent several emails and waited on the phone for 4 hours with no response. The remote start has started to work but the lock and unlock is not working.
1 ★this app doesn't even work. I try to connect and it comes up as an error. I won't be joining again, it was a waste of money for a three year contract that doesn't work. there are very few times that it would say that it started the car only for me to go out in the cold weather to see my car isn't on. I'll say 1 out of 25 times it will work. save your money and don't pay for something that doesn't work. I didn't want to give this app no stars but it won't post it if I don't give it at least 1 star
2 ★This app only works some of the time. Often find it saying car unlocked hours later after I walk away from car and it beeps that its locked. Never can confirm car start, always message not received at vechile. Company needs to get good IT people on staff or something. Becoming sorry I got the product. Heather in Wisconsin
1 ★This app NEVER works anymore! First try get message that it cannot connect, second try says success but all that happens is the lights on the vehicle turn on, draining the battery in the winter when CCA is most critical. Will not renew again
5 ★I was having issues with it commecting my approach on the phone with my car at first, but Direcred customer service got the issue to the right person and an engineer got it to work perfect for me. It is s working perfect! Well worth it.
