By installing the SUBARU STARLINK™ app on your mobile device, you will have access, via your in-vehicle Multimedia touch-screen, to a suite of STARLINK cloud-based applications.
When new apps or updates become available, the STARLINK app will automatically push them directly to your Multimedia screen; providing you with the latest content and entertainment.
Please note that the STARLINK app must be installed on your mobile device before connecting it to your Subaru.
STARLINK app capability standard on most 2015 and later Subaru models. Not available on 2017 and 2018 STARLINK 6.5-inch Multimedia systems. Availability of each application depends on the model year of your vehicle and region.
NOTE: To access STARLINK Safety and Security Remote Services, you must install the MySubaru Mobile App. Safety and Security services require separate subscription. See your retailer for details.

How to install SUBARU STARLINK APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download SUBARU STARLINK APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
Go to your phone Settings page
Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
Check the Unknown Sources box
Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
Tap the APK file you downloaded (com.subaru.global.infotainment.gen2-v2.3.8-ApkClean.apk)

1 ★I thought it would display Google maps and other stuff. I can play iHeart and listen to music and check the weather and the calender on my phone. I can play music on my phone through Bluetooth. Why would I need to use this app? I am going to check my calendar and watch the weather driving 70 mph?

1 ★Useless, slow, old-style. Better throw it away and put normal processor in the head unit, and run Android on it. Or do just screen streaming from phone to haead. Or better integrate with Android auto. But not this Frankenstein... Uninstalled it after 2 hrs of attempts to use it.
1 ★This app is worthless. Does almost nothing. It does have a "news" feature, which I thought I might use, but when I opened it I discovered that it does not play news audio - you actually have to READ the news on the screen! Not my style of driving. Even if the app had any value, it is certainly not intuitive and very difficult to use, thus not worth the trouble. I find nothing on the app that I'm not already to get elsewhere (maps, music, weather, news). Useless.
1 ★They get one more star than they deserve. Despite removing my old vehicle and deleting my account. Starlink not only still charged me an annual renewal, but gave me two duplicate charges that tied up my account. Customer service only refunded one charge. As for the erroneous additional charges they did less than nothing, they just pretended it never happened. So I had $300 tied up by their mistake that they did nothing to fix. Do not waste your money with this horrible service.
1 ★Why does this app need 24/7 access to my maps and WHY does it need access to my photo files? Like why does it have options at all if it doesn't work without picking the options it wants me to use??? And needing it for Nav is BS cause my sister doesn't even have the app and the vehicle connects just fine to her phone
5 ★For real, folks, it has gott'a be something you're doing that is not right with your pairing, or your devices. Using Motorola Android with 2019 Crosstrek Touring. All phone apps work perfectly: Google maps, phone book, iHeart, as well as many other audio streaming apps, and all remote functions and diagnostics. Maybe an Apple issue? Worth looking into. Discuss.
1 ★Why would I need a bird identification app while im driving? Please update this app to make it useful, so many current devices can at least mirror phone screens. I want to use google maps because I've gotten lost a couple times now using the car navigation system, and I dont want to look down at my phone while driving. The star link offers a few apps that are entirely useless while driving. You are a car company with millions of dollars, how hard can it be to make a functioning app? Sry not sry.

1 ★Totally and utterly useless !!!! Not only does it not support new apps (in EU for a 2016 Forester), nor does the existing APPS work (some even expired). SUBARU, you make damn good vihicles, but your SW sucks. If I ad a chance to give zero or minus stars I would !!!!
