1 ★Expensive lesson in time and money. I would rate it -5 stars for the amount of money I spent on this system and the amount of time trying to get it to connect to the network. Does not push alarm messages to your phone unless the phone is active. Worked well when I first got it. Added another sensor, that's when the trouble started...
1 ★Having a notification that stands out from your normal ones is pretty important for an alarm app ! Can't believe this app won't let you choose a notification for this app specifically. The app also frequently freezes up my phone (s6) and the password screen appears every time I unlock my phone which is annoying ! Also app keeps saying "network anomaly " I wish I would have known of this apps shortcomings and issues before I purchased a smanos system
1 ★I set it up on iphone without problem, but now on Android (second device) NO WAY it will connect on network and device.. Very disappointed
1 ★Aftet moving, I have forgotten my cameras password so I reset it back to its defaults and I am still having pronlem connecting the camera to this app using the default password. I contacted Smanos support and their advice was to take it back to the place of purchase. I went back to Officeworks and they have no idea about this products support. So I am very dissapointed with Smanos's lack of interest to help me and my xamera is now useless.
1 ★This app is garbage. It's a beta app at best. 1. Doesn't connect well on Android 2. Individual devices can't be removed. To remove a device you must factory reset the alarm and re-add all other devices -- pray you don't pick some other signal up while adding devices or its back to factory reset for you! 3. Don't go on vacation, your app may not connect when you get back. Solution? Factory reset. I'm a techy kinda guy, had this for months now, believe me the software is garbage! Hopefully they update it.
1 ★App does not push notifications to android phones. You have to have the app opened and in foreground to get notified of alarms. On iOS works fine. Contacted the developer about the problem but he told me my phone wasn't supported. A quick search online shows that many people suffer from the same problem with other phones. Notification sounds can't also be changed so you might not distinguish alarms from other not do important notifications. The alarm is a good product but the app makes it worthless.
1 ★Come on smanos the software is garbage! Read the reviews and sort some new software out. Get this to 5 stars for your customers.
1 ★Almost impossible to set up, users manual and app miss an important step that I only found by watching you tube videos. App crashes constantly, very difficult to successfully pair sensors. Pretty much rubbish.
