1 ★Post payment confirmation it sets address to old saved address.
1 ★Thought I'd give the app a try during covid to ensure contactless pickup at the store, ended up anything but contactless!! Terrible app unusuable. We I finally did manage to get the order through it told me to go to the store but gave no instructions on HOW to get the order. I got no SMS, no email, no call nothing providing directions and how to notice store I was ready. to collect goods. When I got to store there no instructions and the staff just ignored me waiting in marked pickup bay. Eventually put on a mask and went into store and they ignored me at the counter, after 5 minutes not being addressed tried to call the main dan murphy line but was left on hold. In the end had to queue up from the inside of the store and argue with the store manager on why I was told the order was ready but not given any instructions on how to actually get the goods. They claimed the system was suppose to message them and provide me with a text. I asked them if they understood that SMS was none guaranteed as a delivery method, they had no clues and no idea how to proceed without the SMS. No apologies for the half hour of wasted, didn't keep us safe still ended up in store, in queues without the store giving a rats about 1.5 metre distancing rules.
5 ★Excellent range and competitive pricing
3 ★Did an online order thinking it would be sent from the nearest DM store, but it was sent from interstate and took over a week to arrive. I'll go back to just going into the store as its much quicker.
3 ★Delivery Notes as a permanent field in address section of account?
3 ★The latest update has brought in a more responsive (yet convoluted) UI. It'll take some time adjusting to where everything is: but I'm sure I'll get there. A couple of minor kinks are the images failing to load when viewing an items product details (accompanied by a message stating: "oops. something went wrong"). There's seemingly been a removal of custom lists (Favourites, want to buy, whatever you choose to name it) and leaves you only with "wish list". Please bring custom lists back. - Cheers
4 ★I've just installed and played around with v4.2.0. It is no longer clunky as per the earlier version. An observation/suggestion for the developers though: when pick up or delivery are selected, and items are added to the cart, this cart will carry between pick up and delivery. However if I've selected one of these, then choose to go to the store, there is no cart, thus no shopping list follows across. IE: no cart=no shopping list. If it's one or two things, that's OK.. but if it's a lot ?
1 ★I don't like this updated version. I'm trying to add items to my shopping cart & all I get is the wheel of death! It goes around & around & nothing happens. After each addition to my shopping cart I have to restart my phone so it updates. Waste of my time. I'll do it online via my desk top computer.
1 ★Seems to suffer from some major difficulties, opening only every 4th or 5th attempt. Even useless as storage for the card as it takes several minutes for the fetch to time out, and that's too long when you are at a register. Perhaps providing a link to the card whilst fetching resources from the API is a good idea? That way a user can still use the app at a register if the API is taking too long to respond.
5 ★Best prices, great range of everything that's drinkable. Friendly service with happy staff. Dan Murphy's do price match if they have the same in house stock.
1 ★New version (July 19) is just awful in almost every way. They've managed to remove or change everything that made the previous version great to use. Now it's slow, disorganized, impossible to filter and is basically nothing more that an advertising app. If there's not a major update soon, it'll be gone & so might my $. Update Oct: reinstalled and surprised to find it's even worse than it was so now 1 star. Time for a new product, IT team or developer?
3 ★Decent app but I have different drinks lists and the app only shows the main wish list. Please add this feature to the app otherwise I will just use the website.
