The new Woolworths Scan&Go app makes shopping easy and convenient. Just scan the items using your smartphone as you shop and pay before you leave the store.

Useful information:
• Requires internet, Bluetooth and camera to be activated.
• A payment method (an accepted credit or debit card) must be added when you first use the app.
• Items up to a total amount of $250 (and up to $50 in Metro stores) can be purchased within the Scan&Go app.
• Some items including Gift cards, SIM cards, tobacco can’t be scanned using the Scan&Go app.

1 ★Unable to put card in fix plse or il just delete

5 ★I was pretty excited to try out the scan and go, being from Victoria. It worked really well, item scan went through super fast and it even had a process to deal with fruit and veg. I like how there was no paper receipt and a copy is saved in the app. Hardest part was coordinating holding the phone, a grocery bag and picking up items.

5 ★It's like shopping in the future! Highly recommend it to skip queues waiting at the resisters

1 ★I used this in the beta testing because it was fun. It's gotten progressively worse and now I cannot even log on to the store at all (Dbl Bay). In my experience it's a slower process to checkout with this especially if you use your phone for your list too. 100% of my last 10 checkouts needed a manual intervention. Also, good luck if you buy a kitchen knife and then try remove it! I am sure the average consumer basket has also reduced for those using the app with people focusing on their phones

3 ★Now redundant? Integrated into Woolworths latest app update. Never could use it as our stores werent "participating"...

5 ★I used the app for the first time yesterday and it worked really well. This morning I went into the app and my receipt showed all the items purchased in the transaction history, which I think is another cool feature. If you think you have forgotten something, you can look through your cart and check the items you have already bagged. Once I got to the checkout, I had a problem with the payment, but this was because I didn't read the instructions before hand. I only had one item that wouldn't scan, but overall I think it's a great app and considering it is a trial, I believe Woolworths have done exceptionally well.

1 ★Buggy app. Wont let you add a card as it's obscured by a popup saying "Refresh". Who tests this rubbish?

5 ★Works very well, scanning is super fast and accurate. Surprised me how well this worked. The general process and steps could be improved, especially that a scan is the equivalent as an 'add to cart', and ability to add quantities with one scan instead of scanning things multiple times. TIP: Place your items straight into a bag, not a basket, or else you'll have an awkward time transferring your stuff across and bagging them at the end with very limited bench space.

3 ★No gift card payment option, which I use regularly (95% of time)

1 ★Requires a rewards card to work. Cant create login via email or number

5 ★Have only used once so far, but the app worked great and will be a much speedier experience once I get used to holding everything! Produce scanning system is good so far - easy to select what you're weighing. Unless my experience changes dramatically it seems that a lot of previous complaints are outdated and the low rating is a bit unfair.

1 ★This made me to write a review for the first time for an application. Numerous times, I get an error 'unable to connect as Scan & Go is only available in selected Woolworths stores'. It is supposed to be designed for fast check out but it takes more time than self check out kiosk.
