3 ★Simple design flaws make it difficult to use ("share your walk" over the audio buttons, cannot listen to old episodes without starting them over again, etc.). Simple fixes would really improve this app -- I would personally suggest an audio library button so that you can listen to all of them in one place, instead of clicking through multiple episodes, starting & stopping them repeatedly.
1 ★Played most of first level, didn't auto play and even at slow walking pace was too fast for all to play. Not engaged in the story and confused at what was happening, didn't think the actress was great, but I think it is a mix of the script being not great. A massive shame because I can't run to play zombies run and would love an app like this.
1 ★I still enjoy this app, but as the most expensive app purchase I expect it to work better than freebies. I've had to restart episodes if I haven't finished it under a timeframe or switch between wifi (on/off and 4G). Sometimes the episode never resets, locking up at the last point I walked to during a reset, even if I continue, for several minutes even a half hour. I've had to skip ahead 4 episodes for this glitch. Still fun & motivational but not sure I'd recommend it to anyone looking to buy
1 ★Compelling story, terrible implementation. Episodes are too long to complete in a lunch break, being generally about 90 mins, yet progress is rarely remembered. The app either progresses in the background even when closed, or completely stalls meaning the episode has to be restarted. I'd love to know how the story plays out but I've lost the will to battle with this mess of an app.
2 ★The actors in this are very goid. The app is titled "free" but after 4 episodes you have to pay. The monthly fee is too high for me considering I can just buy an audio book for a lot less. The other problem is it's time based not distanced based so it doesn't push you to to progres in your training. I'd prefer an ad supported version than a subscription based one.
2 ★The story is fun and the acting good, but the tech issues make it very frustrating. I have zombies Run as a subscription and the walk is included but every 10 episodes or so it tells me I need to purchase the app and I have to uninstall and reinstall the app. The Play All feature is spotty with most clips not loading. Some clips are either missing or there is a huge gap in the story during which a character is killed but you never figure out what happened they are just suddenly dead.
4 ★Adds some fun to my walking days. Good for slow walks when it is easy to check device frequently to gather items. Would benefit from an "auto collect" for items and "auto play" option for hands free walking without frequent phone checks/battery drain. I recommend the subscription option for almost endless possiblities in this walking app and walking in the Zombies, RUN! app. Great stories and entertainment!
4 ★2020.01.31: Please include a button (option) to go to the last completed episode (or the first not started). It takes long time to scroll to episode 29 or later. Or maybe there is a quick way to do this, than please tell me. I will change my rating to 5 stars after this fix ;) Othewise it is a great app, thanks!
3 ★I love the detail of the extra bits you find and the maps, but the app ends up being so glitchy it's unplayable. Walks stop tracking, episodes don't open, and the tracking minutes are literally never accurate... I'm planning to listen to the podcast version instead, but I wish the game worked better!
5 ★The story this far it's engaging and entertaining. If you are mid mission, don't worry about closing the app - it will still passively run and notify you of the next chapter. Good motivation to walk the dog for those extra few steps.
1 ★I can't download any episodes after the ones that come pre-loaded. I'm subscribed to the Runner's Club via the Zombies, Run legacy option, but this app doesn't recognize that membership so I even tried paying for the regular version in this app to see if that would work. It didn't, so I already cancelled the renewal for next month. It's a real shame; without these bugs I would have given it a 5 star rating. Especially in this time of lockdown, I was really hoping for good things from this app.
4 ★Overall I enjoy it... I've used it consistently for a few months. The only problem is continuing an episode on my next walk, most of the time doesn't work...tracker just won't move and I'm forced to abandon.
