A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Loses pairing constantly. Does not save last setting after battery change.
1 ★Will not connect via Bluetooth with my Pixel 2 phone. Very frustrating. Spend thousands of dollars on hearing aids that don't work. Still doesn't work and I have to force it to stop when I get a message that the phone volume is too low in accoustic mode. Even though I increase the volume the warning won't go away. What a sh@@@y app!
2 ★Love the hearing aids. Not much use in a cafe. Now 6 months on much happier. The blue tooth phone app is fantastic, especially the hands free in the car. The fact that my wife can wear it as a microphone in the car allows us to actually talk. The blue tooth microphone regrettably, has an initial 2-3 second delay when using audio on google maps. Misses critical information.
3 ★The app is good except for the battery status, which works well if you can see the graph with the battery and it's percentage and not good when it switches to the "1, 2 or 3 Beeps" to determine the battery strength, which is difficult because I'm hard if hearing in the first place to hear the beeps.
1 ★my Samsung S8 edge and my hearing aids keep disconnecting. I have to remove the app and download again to get back my connection. at other times it is a little simpler by way of shutting my phone and then restart while opening and closing the battery doors. at times I am so frustrated with the app that I would rather not wear the hearing aids.
4 ★It is easy but I wish it would control right and left separate.
5 ★Great way to set and monitor the various programs on my Kirkland hearing aids! With 5 preset programs it's hard to know which one you're on, but the app takes the guessing out of finding and adjusting programs. The best part is the option to choose which range of mics you want to use and adjust accordingly. I would love to have an option to freeze the settings until I manually reset them, but the hearing aids default back to "auto" every time you turn them off and back on.
2 ★1) It sometimes takes a dozen or more attempts before the app Bluetooth connects to my Smart Transmitter 2,4. 2) It could use a Mute button. 4) The UI could use some work, but that is the least of the app's problems. Of I were a CostCo product manager, I would be all over this app's developers like white on rice. Samsung Note 8, Android 8.
1 ★This app is a big disappointment. I gave it one star as you cannot give it zero. Battery indicator will show that battery has 1/2 to 2/3 battery life left but battery will go dead within 5 to 10 minutes. When a battery goes dead app indicates volume to high even though volume is set below half. Microphone pattern settings do nothing. Sound exposure data does not work. I get 2 bars a day of data and that is it. Hearing support data does not work. No data after 2 weeks.
4 ★Works as expected 85-90% of the time on my Pixel XL. When it works, it works well. Could use an indicator to show when bluetooth connection has dropped. Multiple attempts required to connect in crowded public places like theatres and auditoriums. Frustrating, as this is when the app is needed most to change modes. Documentation is adequate.
3 ★App is good with the exception that volume will not stay where set. I am experiencing having to re-boot my phone throughout the day to get my hearing aids changed such as volume, program, etc. I really don't think that this should be necessary. Time for Connexx to take some action.
2 ★when the battery is dying, and i check for the 1, 2 or 3 beeps, i hear nothing, in either ear. When the batteries r new, there is a pic of battery with a full line. But that is not available when one battery is dying, I get the jiggle but can't verify the other hearing aid life. Frustrating.
