正因為有需求要向小朋友說故事，才發現原來佛教故事類的App不多，或許有，但介面不夠親和，於是末學便自己校稿整理了這個App。介面設計上以簡單易用為原則，雖然有三百多個故事，但是每次關閉App時會記錄目前所在的位置，所以使用上還算順手。
法句經總共有四百二十三句，這些巴利文的法句是佛陀大約在三百零五個場合為了眾生的法益而開講的。這些法句因為文辭高妙，而且有助於塑造未來佛教徒的生活而被搜集記錄下來，這些法句根據主題分成二十六品。
法句經故事集生動活潑地描述了佛陀。佛陀在家信徒包括國王，如頻婆娑羅王和波斯匿王；富翁如給孤獨長者；妓女如絲蕊瑪和一大群的平民，如理髮匠、金匠、馴象師、特技演員、奴隸、獵人、漁人、園藝專家、屠夫、紡織工人和船民等。很多人從佛陀的教誨中受益良多。
