Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Looks like it might be useful, but all i get is some links to forums... useless. No s7 galaxy functionality....cmon neptune...
1 ★App doesn't work, I open it all it shows just the neptune splash screen and bottom support resources that's all, no controls to anything can't do anything else
1 ★Did anyone prescreen this garbage app? It does absolutely nothing. It's just a splash page that has links to their website.
1 ★It never gets past the opening screen. Literally have no access to anything except a list of three places to contact support. No response from neptune shows they aren't interested in fixing it. They don't care enough to address the issue. This is becoming more typical of neptune. Whole company is going downhill fast.
4 ★I love my APEX and the Android has worked pretty well though it does scare me when it times out. Ok, my ATO unit isn't quite automatic just yet so I operate it manually having an idea how much water my tank has evaporated over a certain period of time and how long I need to let it run. Sometimes when I start my semi-ATO from my phone (this is when I'm not at home!) and it's time to turn it off, the connection times out and I have to quickly back out of the program and go back in to turn it off; Panic!
1 ★I gave a galaxy s5 and it does nothing after you open the app. Can't add a controller. I can go to the site through my browser that's it
1 ★Worked fine on my old phone (S6 Edge). Doesn't work on my new one. Sometimes the app was more convenient than Apex Fusion. Come Neptune, support the app or don't have one.
2 ★I downloaded it hoping to have better control of my reef system and had to uninstall it Four times It would keep crashing very frustrating at best. Really needs fixing. Ya never know if your tank is in trouble.
1 ★I have a note 4 and once you open the app it just sits on the splash screen. Nothing else can be done.
5 ★Apex wants you to use the Apex website for your aqua controller, not this app. It's in their documentation somewhere. This app is now unsupported and I don't know why they even have it on here.
1 ★Edit: a little over a year later and no change. Come on Neptune! Get you act together! Blue aqua controller button (I guess it's a button)does nothing on my S6. I could tap it until my finger bled. No way to add my controller. Same thing on my old galaxy nexus.
5 ★First class support. The app work's has some issues but trust Neptune will fix it. A little configuration is needed so thank god for first class support
