5 ★Smart Launcher does all the things that I need, and for free. It has a very clean and easy to navigate interface and the app drawer folders are a major improvement over the base Pixel 6 experience. I'm using the free version, but intend to purchase the premium lifetime version ($15) as long as there are no hiccups. I can easily see myself wanting this interface on every phone I get in the future. Update: I bought premium to support the dev team, and don't regret it. Great work!

5 ★(UPDATE 02/09/22) Developers fixed the bug and continues to be a really fantastic launcher now. Has been a great launcher for the past few years but randomly stopped working and literally stopped my entire phone from being used. I wasn't able to press the home button, back button/tab or anything without "updating" the app, however it was fully up to date. Very disappointing especially from a launcher that I pay a subscription to use.

5 ★Love hate relationship: Love the launcher have been using it for years, on all my Android devices. The devs are responsive and listen. Even have their app drawer on my duo because the launcher won't work on it. Hate: SL6 should have been an individual release, it messed up my home screen, widgets and all, landscape mode is much worse than before, weird margins on the app page etc. I do not like it. Note to google: stop messing with my reviews, I know your algo is trying to be smart but it isnt.

4 ★One of My Favorite Launchers. They finally patched the update bug that made my phone suddenly less-than-useful forcing me to switch launchers in the middle of an outing with a friend. I still experience the occasional issue where the launcher freezes and I get a blank screen with only my wallpaper. And although I have Google News API sideloaded page app, it still crashes randomly and doesn't come back until I force a few restarts. Not sure if this is something the dev can work on or not.

1 ★I used to love this app and used it for years. Then one day I wake up to a notification that said "alpha version is outdated and to update it". I updated both the app and my phone and the launcher now no longer works. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and restarting my phone and nothing works... From what I have read the latest update has several bugs. In theory the app is amazing, but with updates it seems to crash a lot.

1 ★The way it forces you to upgrade by locking everything out (basically making your phone unusable) until you download version 6 is bad news. What if I had an emergency? I couldn't even dial or text. So, I uninstalled. I get wanting people to upgrade, but forcing people to do so by making their phones unusable, especially since the previous version was working just fine, is not good. Also, looking at the other reviews for the new version, I'm not going to take that chance.

1 ★Used SL for years and have loved it. Today kept getting the notice to update to the v6. Everytime I downloaded and then entry yo click "open", screen blinks and and I'm still on the "open" page. Theirs def a bug with the new version and my bf said he's getting the same thing so we both had to uninstall because the page just kept blinking at is to "open". Jist nothing is actually happening.

2 ★One step forward, 2 steps back. I have no issues with the recent changes with the app, in fact I love the ability to finely tune the appearance and position of widgets and icons. Currently I have my apps set to appear whenever I swipe to the left, unfortunately now whenever I do the action it keeps moving my clock widget. Even when I set it to prevent modifications it still pops up the prompt to ask for permission to modify. No idea why the launcher is registering my swipes as long presses.

1 ★SO glad I turned off auto updates on my main phone (this is a cheap backup). Absolutely despise the update to version 6. It rearranged everything. Even clicking a folder brings up icons out of the order they were in previously. If this had happened on my main phone, I'd be livid. I have visual processing issues and moving things out of the order I'm used to is an absolute nightmare.

4 ★Some requests: 1. Can you guys improve the drag and drop experience on app pages? It's way too sensitive when you have a scrolling page. 2. Please let us break the rigid confine of the 'grid' home page option of bottom/centered app icons. There should be a 'free for all' option that allows you to move app icons anywhere on home. I like making clusters at different positions on the page. 3. The clock widget on home keeps disappearing. I have to tap/hold to resize it so it displays again.

4 ★Update : recent update seems to have fixed the issue! Still prefer this launcher over others... It's simply most intuitive for me, and after using this one for so long, it's hard to adapt to other launchers. *** Launcher was working just fine until today. Suddenly says this alpha version is outdated and that I need to update...and automatically takes me to the play store to update, except its already updated. And I can't even go to my phone's the home screen. Please fix this.

3 ★Love the application.. I've used it for a number of years. One problem that has persisted across a couple of phones and god knows how many releases of Android is that Smart Launcher will not 'stick'. The phone is always prompting me for what launcher to use. There's often an option to make it the default but doesn't make any difference. What am I missing?
