Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★Update: I installed the app after the update and it now it tracks the activity from my fitbit. changed my rate to a 5. I connected my fitbit but I am not quite sure what it tracks. It also took some playing around to figure out how to make changes to the areas of pain. You need to use the reset option to remove an area. I am new to using it, hopefully I will get everything figured out.
5 ★Very useful. Hopefully my Dr. Will be able to figure something out after looking through the logs.
5 ★I love it. As a Chronic Low Back Pain patient since 1995, I find it very useful to log my past and present conditions. Keeping up with my arsenal of medications was a drag, until I installed PainScale. If I go to a new doctor outside of the Atrium Network I can just pull out my phone and say, Here you go Doc. Here's all my medications and all of my conditions. What is so unique about PainScale is I can log all of my pain numbers and show them to my Pain Center DR. I never heard of such a thing.
5 ★This app is great! It can keep track of so many things I hadn't thought of and really helps me pay attention to what I actually am going thru. It's a little confusing at first because it offers so much. List meds and alarms, email charts to dr's, activity level, pain level, pain triggers like weather. It does soooo much and not enough room to write about. I am pain restricted to home and this app actually mentally helps me also. I could write so much more. I'm not a bot, a real unpaid person.
4 ★I like this app. It is helpful when trying to get pain management and other healthcare providers to understand the severity of my symptoms and their affects on activities of daily living. This app provides a lot of interesting extras such as logging food intact and informative articles, and daily pain management tips. However, I wish the app was a little bit more thorough. It does not allow me to log all my pain conditions (like gastroparesis, plantar fasciitis, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome), or specific areas of pain (like groin pain), or symptoms (like nose bleeds). Despite its short comings, I would recommend this app to others.
5 ★Excellent way to track both my pain and skin flare ups. Able to make notes and attach photos when applicable. Also the meditations in the education section have proven themselves surprisingly helpful abd effecive at reducing myboverall pain level.
1 ★I've been using this for a few months and thought everything was fine. I started looking back at my logs and noticed not all the body parts I marked as hurting remained marked after clicking save log. I need a log that is accurate. I emailed their support twice and have not gotten a response. Neither of these problems are acceptable to me. Looking for a better app.
4 ★A nice simple pain recording app. Could be more detailed and show more symptom choices.
4 ★This app makes it easy to track my chronic pain. Only gave 4 stars becauae of a few minor things i wish were different. I wish I was able to start fresh with a log each time, instead of having edit my previous log. Also, I wish there was more options when it comes to describing the pain or a way to add your own. Other than that, this app is great!
4 ★I downloaded this app a few days ago and so far I'm happy with the way it works. I have a few issues with the symptoms and pain type options. There are no options related to what I have and for someone with chronic brain fog it's difficult to always verbalize what to say let alone remember medical terms for my symptoms. I did see that the admins take user suggestions and improve the program as needed. Hopefully the app will be something I can use long term. It's a lot easier to use than writing!
5 ★I've just started using it but so far, so good. I see the benefits of identifying my pain. To describe exactly what I am feeling and where is empowering. Instead of my brain just screaming, "I'm in so much pain!" I can chop my pain up into manageable pieces. It seems less overwhelming and all encompassing. I am encouraged and I have hope. Thank you.
5 ★I love this app and have shared it with others in a pain class I attend. I love that I can have reminders to check in on myself and log my pain. I also really enjoy the charts so that to can see your progress from a different perspective. The only thing I can think of to improve the app is the symptoms and triggers section of the pain log. I have to alphabetically search for the options. If there was just a list, it'd be easier. Thank you so much for the hard work you folks have put into this!
