4 ★The daily programs are fine, but the on demand has always been iffy. Used to be able to occasionally watch something on demand, but now everything has the statement that Pluto is having trouble setting up that information, or it simply doesn't work at all Update 12/17. Now it just freezes when I try to watch ANYTHING, I can't even choose to watch what ever is playing live. 12/29 it's gotten MUCH better. Not quite Perfect but it's back up to the 90% realm. Thank you
2 ★Not a bad TV app, but replays the same episodes and movies over & over again. Freezes up a lot as well. News shows are like 1 to 2 weeks old, not airing up-to-date news. Lately, they have been playing many of the same ads for TikTok, which makes me just change the channel or close the app and use another, (dropped to 2 stars for so many TikTok ads) I have to add my favorites back on every so often, and would be nice if you could place your favorites in your order
2 ★In the beginning, the app was great. I was watching all my favorite shows and movies. Now recently, the app is freezing, stopping every few seconds. I deleted the app and downloaded it again to see if it will work. It's still not working, it's stopping every few seconds again! ARE YOU GOING TO FIX THE PROBLEM? THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR A WEEK.
1 ★Absolutely horrible user experience with the app. Sometimes it won't let me press anything when I'm watching something. Other times I tap 1 episode I want to see but it plays the one after that. If I don't watch everything in 1 sitting it'll just move onto the next episode instead of picking up where I left off. Super annoying experience.
1 ★Has this app been abandoned? Seems like many reviews are pointing out that it keeps stopping when casting. Happens on all of our devices. Try to continue the movie and there's a good chance that it will start a totally different movie. A friend said its happening to him as well. What happened? This app used to be great but now it functions more like an app in the beginning stages of beta testing. I know you said your team is investigating, but its been weeks with no resolution.
3 ★I miss the original, initial Pluto from the beginning! The latest update removed the ability to have favorites and unchecked them. The buffering continues with news and opinion channels and returns to normal after channeling up or down only to buffer again. I don't like to update because someone screws with it, but I'm eventually forced to. Why fix things that aren't broken. Woody Allen still uses his original typewriter for goodness sake!
3 ★I like the variety of offerings on pluto, however streaming loads are not reliable. Constantly losing stream. Not a problem with other apps i have like tubi. App is 'glitchy' at times. Please solve the problem. Another annoying thing is words overlaying on top of each station on the guide. I'd like to be able to read what playing instead of letters on top of letters 🤦🏻♂️. You really need to fix that also. Thank You
5 ★Something for everyone. And it's FREE! I would pick PlutoTV over any other option. So many great choices for any interest. I don't even bother with my spectrum cable anymore and let's all be honest...Netflix sucks. Sure there are ads, but they are not excessive or obnoxious like the networks. Not a ton of 'new' content. Mostly from the cbs/paramount archive...which is like 60 years of entertainment gold. AND IT'S FREE!
2 ★Great potential but many annoying and time consuming issues. 1) very different app on different tv's and phone, 2) remembers my place on one but not other, 3) to fast forward to where you were, have to watch every set of commercials again, sucks if you were near end, signed in didnt help, 4) search works intermittent, 5) no watch list on TV app, 6) pretty but terrible navigation. 7) Samsung TV isn't an option for TV share. 8) get that it's free, but sooooooo soooooo many repetitive commercials.
3 ★Excellent selection of shows and movies especially for a free app - however I must agree with the many other reviewers, recently the app has become extremely glitchy to the point that it is virtually unwatchable in miniscreen format. The only way I can use it properly is if it's the ONLY open window - as soon as I minimize it and start using other apps it crashes almost immediately. This is really unfortunate because I almost always watch it while I'm doing other work.
4 ★I see a lot of people use it on their phone, but my rating is based on TV usage. I downloaded it when it had Pluto 007 as a channel and for a real Bond fan, that was GREAT! Mt gripe is that that hasn't returned and that the showtime stuff is only first episodes of first seasons. Also, movie selection is acceptable, but could be better. But overall a good app for Smart TV.
1 ★Updated review>1*Over time Pluto has become unwatchable due to constant freezing. It's absolutely frustrating to attempt to watch Pluto. If it's not repaired asap it'll be uninstalled. Don't leave a comment with an email asking me to waste my time replying with more info. Freezing and lagging makes it impossible to watch any channel on Pluto. If that isn't enough info to apply a fix, then this app is just wasted space. 5/23/2019 review>5*The best free app available! Live TV and so much more.
