1 ★I've been using it for years, it used to be free and great, now it's paid but at the same time the quality dropped immensely. Their approach to monetization wasn't to create new and better features and charge for them but instead was to punish the current users with a borderline unusable app so you need to pay to get a minimally functional app once again. Lazy and poor decision.
1 ★Terrible update. Used to be the best wine app in town for researching and recording wines. Now it doesn't even provide a simple list of all the wines I've scanned? Seems to be falling into that trap of trying to be a social media platform. Happily will pay for a useful app, or endure some ads, but this is the worst of all worlds. Will be looking for a replacement.
1 ★Downgraded this to one star. I get the use of ads, but why so intrusive. What I can't take is the difficulty of scanning a wine label. That was the USP of this app 10 years ago. Recently, the button for taking a scan just disappeared, with just an auto shoot facility, which takes endless scans of the same label. Now the button has reappeared, but seems to be inoperative, asking you to choose wine label or wine list, still to no avail. Sadly, yet another app ruined in the pursuit of the dollar.
1 ★This was a very nice application, used constantly for community feedback on some great wines selected, but someone had to go and ruin it with this latest update. For anyone else ... Don't update your current revision as it's now cluttered with adverts. Even scanning the labels is slow. I'm now looking for an archive / prevoius version on the internet, if I can't find it, it's deleted.
1 ★It used to be one of my favorite apps. But now, thanks to the efforts of efficient managers, it is getting worse and worse. More and more features that were originally free are now available only by subscription. Prices for which, by the way, are not cheap. And advertising, which flooded the pages, and a banner on the whole screen. I have a feeling that soon the label scanner will be for subscribers only. That's a shame. I'll have to look for a more customer-oriented application.
1 ★Was good, now ruined by the latest update which is essentially monetisation of the user-created lists. I used to enjoy scanning and found the purchase experience pretty seamless. Now the last order I made was cancelled in its entirety "due to a wine linking error" and various sellers will not ship to my area of the UK (and Vivino itself seems to have stopped selling its own wine) so there is no point using it. I will go back to using my local wine merchant instead.
1 ★Was once a great app with great features, but sadly they have moved all the useful features to a premium version that costs a whopping 50 dollars a year. I would have been fine with paying 5 dollars a year to use this app but how they figured that they can charge that kind of money is beyond me. Time to look for an alternative.
1 ★Used to be good, now almost impossible to order wine. Every time you add a bottle and continue shopping it resets filters and applies a hidden one filtering to that 1 merchant. So frustrating I gave up. The different hidden merchant behaviour is a steaming mess. Reading other recent reviews, it's clear they have lost the plot. This is a dead app, and unless they get rid of their, clearly garbage, new leadership, then they are dead. Last chance Vino, you are about to die. You killed this great ap

It was something I used almost daily, but the monetization attempts have gotten really aggressive and bottom of the barrel: loud pop-up irrelevant video ads, user flows pushing to buy premium subscriptions, etc. Too bad....back to searching for wines on google it is.
1 ★I have used this app for over 5 years, and I recommended it to friends and family. Since the update requesting subscription and with the added bonus of adverts as well. Now slow and inaccurate label recognition my rating has gone from a five star rating to a one star rating. Such a pity, the monthy or yearly subscription is a little steep. It is not worth the expense for me to consider. Thank you for the use over the years.
1 ★As a former huge fan and avid user for a while, I must say the latest app is an enormous disappointment. Besides introducing premium for all things that were free, the app just doesn't work. Super slow to process scans when they do work.
1 ★Major overhaul in the app, pushing for a monthly subscription for basic, previously free, functionality. Extremely long, audio blasting ad after every scan. Unfortunate that the company decided to go this route.
