Description
This remote control app allows you to control your Samsung Smart TV over the local network. It is tested with Samsung K-series Tizen TVs (2016 and later) and C, D, E, F, H, J (manufactured between 2010 - 2015) TVs with network (LAN or WiFi) interface.★ C-Series TV (2010) with Internet TV feature
The function "Remote Control" in the settings of the TV must be enabled)! It's usuallly located at Menu -> System Settings. If there is no such setting, then sadly your TV does not support remote control over network.

App must be set as allowed remote application in the Allshare settings of the TV. If this app connects to your TV on the first time, then you have to accept the message that appears on your TV. If you have refused the confirmation message on your TV ("accept device"), it is possible later to change your selection by going to: Menu -> Network -> AllShare Settings or Menu/Tools -> Network -> Expert Settings -> Mobile Device Manager.

NB! Make sure your television and phone or tablet are connected to the same local network. This app will work only then when your phone and TV are both on the same local network!

3 ★Works, but I have to keep clearing app data. It will work for a few days, and then stop connecting. If I clear app data and try again it works immediately.
5 ★Works perfect! Mimics my original Samsung remote layout so I didn't even have to relearn anything. Took less than a minute to set up. Instant gratification after my daughter fused the old remote together with an accidental nail polish remover spill and that remote could no longer be used! 😂😂😂

5 ★I lost my remote while having too high volume on the TV. Unbelievably with this remote, even in panic, it took seconds from clicking "install" to being able to operate the TV again. I'm amazed! To the dude in comments with multiple TVs - you are wrong. You can indeed set IP adress to whichever TV you want.
3 ★Connects easily to my tv & works well enough for me, though i only use volume and standby....Edit. since recent update ads have appeared as soon as app is opened and not after using any features. Bad move devs

4 ★Literally more responsive than my physical remote control. Ads are a bit annoying, hence the 4 star cap (although understandable to fund the app), but no complaints otherwise.
5 ★I've tried several apps to control my Samsung TV. This is the best, buy far. You can change the size of the remote and it remains paired for a long time, most you have to re-pair with the TV frequently. Also seems the commands are more responsive.
4 ★Does what it supposed to do,but everytime you close app off it has to reconnect and that takes a few all the time,but if that's a problem I don't have none. App is worth downloading and using. No ads.
