1 ★Metropolitan + watch is nice. Well built, and looks good. However, when Iselect metropolitan + plus to begin setup the app just closes and goes backto my home screen. No error message given. Tried restarting phone andredownloading app. No dice.
2 ★App told me battery was bad, I only had it 2 months so took it back to theshop, they checked the battery, it was good. Tried a brand new watch, Iconnected it to app, again the app said battery bad, but battery testproved it was good therefore it had to be the app. Uninstalled andreinstalled app, synced my watch and now saying battery good. Thanks forwasting my time Timex! .
2 ★The watch (metropolitan+) is nice. However, the application needsimprovements: every time I want to sync the watch I need to stop theapplication and start it again. Otherwise the sync does not work. Also, Ido not understand why you need Gps on to sync the watch...

1 ★Abysmal app. The desktop version is even worse. After far too muchtroubleshooting this stopped recognizing the watch. How could Timex havegotten this so wrong? Ditching the watch for something else with an appthat works.
1 ★This app has made the use of an expensive watch pointless. After travelling abroad and resetting the time there without any issue, it now won't reconnect and sync the time now I've returned home, leaving me with a watch showing the wrong time. Complete waste of money, I'd recommend anybody considering to purchase to look elsewhere.
3 ★NEW UPDATE: I now have a Samsung Galaxy Tablet. NFC is not an option. When I open the app and choose Watch Control, it crashes. UPDATE: They have re-implemented NFC in the new version. It works much better than BlueTooth (which apparently only works when the battery is fresh). It's hard to get that set up, but it's worth it. Two minor problems: 1. You have to sync twice each time. That is, tap, wait, and tap again. 2. After a sync, the time will be off by ten seconds. Also, after you change the battery, the beeping/alarm may fail. Timex recommends sending it in when that happens, but I've found that futzing around with it (remove the back and reinstall) can usually get it working again. I don't use any of the tracking functions.
1 ★Worst app. Would have not purchased the watch if I knew the app would bethis hard to sync. Firmware update has also frozen the watch. Both nowuseless.

4 ★Previous problems seem to be solved, I have been using it for two months now without any issues.
1 ★The App doesn't work at all with Galaxy S8 over bluetooth or NFC. Total garbage and hasn't been updated since February 2018.
