The BC Highways App makes navigating your province faster and easier. You will be able to reduce your commute time and stay up to date on the current road conditions, traffic and weather. In addition you’ll be able to access over 600 traffic cams across BC so you’ll never be out of touch with your highways.The app uses the open 511 DriveBC APIs to provide information on BC's Highway Network, including:
- Road Conditions
- Road Incidents
- Roadside Camera images
- Construction / Maintenance Activities
- Traffic Status
- Border Crossings
As well as other features including:
- Replay the last 24 hours of any cam
- Filter events
- View events closest to you
- Search cams
- View cams closest to you
- Filter map items
- Favourite cams
- View cams close to event
