A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?
A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.
Q: What are Android App permissions?
A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Used to be awesome, but now they dictate what movies you can see (mostly crappy ones) and limit you to only three a month. You might be able to see a blockbuster every once in a while. B, c, and d level movies are allotted one or two per day (to select from). If you're going to limit the quantity, don't limit the quality. If you're going to limit quality, don't limit quantity. A far cry from the original MoviePass - any movie any day once every 24 hours as it used to be. Truly sad what it has become. At least AMC allows three movies a week. My wife and I have cancelled after 3 years. Just sad.
2 ★It was great at the beginning and even when they started the 3 movie a month policy. Even when they had the peak pricing. But now it is just not worth it the movies that they post on their weekly movie schedule aren't always in theatres and even when they are the times disappear. For instance today I wanted to watch venom. At 10am I checked the app and it had 2 times listed, at 12:30 I checked again and it still had the times. I checked at 2pm and all the times were gone. Even though they were at like 7 and 8pm!!!!. This is like the 3rd time this has happened. This is a great concept and absolutely loved it at first but I am really frustrated with it and have canceled my subscription.
1 ★Great at first, but it quickly went downhill. I signed up in the very beginning when subscriptioms were $9.99 a month. Then they cut the number of movies you could see a week, and they limited you to seeing a movie only once. Those two changes made sense. What didn't was that they also upped the price of subscriptions. On top of this they added prime time fees and it became impossible to get in to see any movies even if you went to get tickets in the AM. Beware of this company. Get AMC Stubz.
1 ★When I first got the app it was great. I prepaid for a year of unlimited movies a month. Then terms changed. Then offerings went away. I haven't seen a single available movie in three months. I've tried to cancel multiple times , and even though a year was prepaid for and terms have drastically changed since then they will not prorate unused time. At this point I want to verify I won't be billed again, but these awful people won't make it easy to get in touch with them. Stay away. Hopefully they go bankrupt.
1 ★App works fine... It's the overall product and plans that suck. I used to be a big fan, but now it's a game of "Battleship" to find a nearby theatre that is showing an eligible movie you want to see. Today I'm stuck in a hotel out of town because of a cancelled flight, and the 5 nearest theaters say "There are no more screenings at this theater today"... and it's only 11:30am! I'm so bummed I paid for the year in advance. Don't waste your money; learn from my mistake.
1 ★worked great when I signed up. paid for year subscription. I have about 3-4 months remaining. been working a lot so haven't had time to watch any in a while. I have the night off and want to catch a film, but says in app error or no more showings. looks like they want everyone to resign up for their higher pricing or turning into a scam now. can't contact anyone to ask what's going on with the app. very disappointing that I didn't get a full year as I paid for a full year up front.
1 ★I thought the worst of movie pass was over, but it keeps getting worse. I was fine with being limited to three movies a month. I was fine with a small reduction in show times, but now it's ridiculous. For the last week there have been no or maybe 1 movies available at any theater. Usually the movie is something no one even knows is in the theaters. On top of that they close out available show times hours before the screening. So even if you wanted to watch one of these D list movies, you'd have to go to the theater 2± hours early to get your ticket. I'm trying to remember that word where someone takes your money and gives you nothing in return... Oh yeah robbery.
1 ★The app itself may or may not work - I can't tell. It used to work fine, but for the last 2 months there have not been any showings of any movies at any major theater in the Orange County, CA area. So much for the annual pass...I was ripped off. Please provide a refund prorated back to the last movie I saw, September 15, 2018 through when my annual subscription would end. This is absolutely theft and breach of contract. Frankly, all annual subscribers should form a large class to sue this company and put them out of business for good.
1 ★Went to the movies yesterday after checking times and moviepass availability. Got to the Theatre and was in front of the ticket box. The app kept giving the message You must be within 100 yards. I restarted the app, restarted my phone, checked to see if it needed to be updated - it did not. My girlfriend was able to get her ticket and then I couldn't. Wasn't able to swipe my card to pay either...It was a big inconvenience and absolutely made me hate this company. How do I trust that it will work from now on??
1 ★Absolute garbage! I paid for a year sub, and it was great! They've had to make changes which is understandable but now I'm extremely limited on the movies I can watch. For example, on a Saturday my ONLY options are Assassination nation, and Fahrenheit 11/9, neither of which I have any desire to watch. Want to watch any of the other movies?? Pay out of pocket. This is absolutely worthless now and I'm stuck with the sub for the rest of the year. There's better options out there.
1 ★This used to be great, but after they started selecting which movies you can see (which never have any showings anywhere) it's become completely useless and a waste of money. Which is so disappointing because I loved the idea and the service before the switch. I know they said it's "temporary" but even so, temporarily having no way of using the service you're paying for is trash.
1 ★To Those Responsible: Your website doesn't work properly nor does the mobile app(yes I have the latest app). Unable to pick a theatre, etc., on and on, ad nauseum. In hindsight, should've cancelled in May '18 when Movie Pass as a business began having such monumental problems. Yet, I wanted to have faith in the company. We all want to see wonderful movies, at near incredible prices no less. Hey, for what it's worth, you are still in business aren't you? Do you actually care about your customers? Thousands of people like me, who paid one year in advance, in full, with trust in what you claimed your product to be. Running a large business is a complicated venture but in your preliminary business plan you must have foreseen very serious issues with it. And yet, you did it anyway... Yes, as a customer I deserve some blame. If it seems to good to be true, it probably is. And it was. Caveat Emptor. Sincerely, CJ
